The test Han**** was talking about is the Optigene one, which has been in public domain since early April. Works from nasal or throat swab. Needs a bespoke machine to get the result. Machine can process 300 swabs an hour. NBetter than lab based tests but reliant on having machines on site to get the 20 minute result. Not suitable for home testing and not as good as AVCT's test - nasal swab, need machines to process, likely higher cost as a result, etc. Six week pilot coming up, which takes us to end June before any roll-out. No details I can see on accuracy, etc.
