Could be DB sees Randgold as a target but maybe not this week.

My shares are not for sale, DB is going to bring home the bacon.

Should the long term PI lose out with a low takeover , it would not be what DB has led us to believe.
The management team have delivered the mine on time to budget, a good job.
I have patiently trusted my well over £ 100 000 investment ( average price 36p) believing an empire was being built.
I still believe in the company and do not believe DB would let these loyal shareholders down.
If I am mistaken, needless to say, I would not be associating in any future business promises.
Investors back teams that deliver on investments, not just building programmes.

Randgold down 3% today need more resources to replace production. Endeavour have a man onboard, lots of interested parties. Who knows what Ben has got in his sights.

The more players in the auction the better. Gold price will recover and Hummingbird are in a strong position to prosper.

My punt is 99p (for one share).

The fact that we are producing gold @ a good profit means a number of big companies would want to buy Hummingbird. We also have huge reserves when gold price rises.
We do not need to sell and this will be known by our larger shareholders. There is therefore no chance of the company being sold cheap, there may well be an auction but personally I would prefer Dan to build his empire

Does anybody know when company can actually buy back shares, should they wish to do so.

Just a thought if the share price is allowed to fall, presumably the company get more shares for their money.
No real incentive to buy until they feel that it cannot go lower.

One can only speculate wether a share buyback is necessary.
If we knew that mine life was in the bag, a joint venture with a big gold producer was in the bag and that the loose apples were being picked up with a big investor.

So anytime the board wanted to introduce share buyback, that could buy about 4 million shares a week.
That would soon sort the SP.
In any takeover of the company it would be better for all shareholders to have a higher SP.
You just cannot get away from the fact that gold bricks are being produced, any cheap sell out would be more than questionable. Big rise in SP is not far away.

Patience is a virtue and we are all dissapointed with the sp.
Dan Betts must be after the pouring of gold on time to budget. The team is all important and with so much knowledge within Hummingbird, it is inconceivable that they would even consider a move into zinc , unless it was a cert.
The explorations carried out by Cora reveal a stand alone mine is on the cards. This could use the cash Hummingbird is amassing. The life of mine is about to be lengthened and when it does the SP will reward the patient.
Keeping my fingers crossed that we are not taken over before we have a realistic SP.

I am changing to strong buy, come on everybody let’s everybody do it.
I really think BT should climb onboard and change from no opinion.

If the price is right , I may sell 10% and wait for 300p and then reconsider.

Time will tell what stopped the sp rising every time we got good news, why somebody is mopping up shares @ 30p, why we could not get above our 39p before selling commenced. It will be interesting to hear company explaining, hope they do it directly rather than via various third party telephone conversations.

I posted at the time that the new director coming from Endeavour was strange, when the Egyptian billionaire owner was turning half his assets into gold. It is not much good to sell for 45p if bought in the early days at a high price. Dan would not be building his own empire and letting loyal shareholders down. It is a great way to buy now and double your money in a few weeks, if the mm will let you have the shares.

Zero tolerance by Government is their policy, it is for the greater good. Maybe we should try it in our country, to stop burglars, shoplifters and knife crime. Bus is almost full now. Full price tickets next stop.

The company have done everything possible to make life better for the community, it is one of the reasons I invested. The wheels keep turning and the gold bricks are still being produced. My biggest concern is a cheap takeover and today increases that possibility. The government appear to have a zero tolerance policy, some say it worked in New York.
