I actually believe that the reason gold is going up is not because we use helicopters.

Commodities have had a bad time but it appears to be ending, anything to do with precious metals is coming from a low cycle. The Egyptians and Romans knew the value of gold and although they are well gone, the value of gold remains. Bitcoin has lost 75% in the last year, Border Terrior was barking up the wrong tree, he should have been warning crypto gamblers. That money is now being returned to precious metals. Randgold up 3% today.
You might be able to dupe Private Investors but fund managers do not agree , the tail does not wag the dog.
Much happier with my shares in gold , it is in short supply and growing economies like China love it.

Most precious metals have had a bad time , Randgold the largest gold U.K. stock dropped 50 % on FTSE over last 3 years. Up another 1% today and rose by 30% last few weeks. Even with a mine built on time to budget, this was the environment in which it was accomplished. OK, combination of bad luck and hindsight is a wonderful tool, but this share is going one way, hence institutions having a greater share. Little chance of going lower, I’ll go with all gold shares.IMOP.

Gold Rising $1240

A wise man once said , I’d rather be lucky than clever.
If the bridge was down and we stockpiled gold, today’s price might be better than yesterday’s.
What goes around comes around, we are owed some luck.
My next forecast, the lucky buggers will have fantastic drill results lengthening life of gold mine life.
Harder you work , luckier you get.

When gold rises historically, it is seen first in large companies SP before small companies.
However, biggest gains are made with the smaller companies.
Randgold has risen more than 30% in the last few weeks. Much of my Hummingbird loss has already been returned to me, When Hummingbird was not pouring gold it was twice today’s price and tipped as a multi bagger.
My guesstimate is upside £2 within 2 years. They have had some bad luck, due a bit of good luck.

If gold really gets going , then the profits generated with Hummingbird & Cora will have been worth the heartaches.
My shares are tucked away for the long term, maybe investment companies are mopping up cheap shares with similar aims.

All I want for Christmas is some really good drilling figures that lengthen mine life for twenty years.

The conference call seemed to be set questions from Institutional Investors, not much opportunity for Private Investors to ask questions. The way that information is relayed to Private Investors has resulted in a mass exodus, no such thing with Institutional Investors mopping up shares very cheaply. No mention about drilling results and the shares continue to be mopped up. Bad news seems unanswered, good news delayed. Same thing with Cora, Institutional buyers seem to be happy enough. Makes you wonder why the people that are in the know, want to continue buying shares.
Wonder if the drilling results are good, wonder if gold production is better than forecast, let us try and be pleasantly surprised with future performances.

It is amazing how such a small share sell can drop the value of a company by over 8%.
The larger institutions seem to be holding, maybe they know more.

I am not technical and would appreciate guidance.
The problems with the pit wall appeared in the rainy season.
Could this mean that it could resolve itself, just dig when dry, dig elsewhere when wet season.
It seems that there are plenty of other areas being drilled, plus Cora have found plenty.
The bridge is a one off, army put bridges in pretty quick to carry tanks.
The SP has got to be at a low.
Some clever people have bought shares in Cora @ twice today’s value.
Pretty big potential for huge price increase.

We still have a fully operational goldmine with reserves all around us. A stake in Cora that need to build a mine.

It does appear to show a problem with the wet season, which has now been well reported.
The interview to my uneducated eye showed no further concerns throughout.
He seems to be of the opinion that getting on with the job and delivering the goods is what matters.
The SP is crazy for a completed goldmine in an area surrounded with gold deposits.
The interview clearly shows the ethical way Hummingbird are working with the community.
I just do not believe Dan Betts is going to let down the community,the institutional shareholders,his own image and my
Investment.

I may not be happy about the communications between company and shareholders.
I may not like the current undervalued SP.
Hummingbird are doing a first rate job improving the quality of life for locals.
Digging up the past which was not under their control has nothing to do with Dan Betts.
Maybe these comments make Institutional investors more attractive.
