Much sympathy! I have in the past, bought and sold CPI and generally have made a reasonable profit. I watch the sector with interest and also have interest in CLLN and and IRV. I agree that the current SP here is very tempting given the recent Budget and also the dividend. However I've seen my target buy in price of 490p be passed on the way down and wonder if any of the chartists out there have a better view of things. Surely this must be the bottom!

...who used to shop at Crawshaw's, but no longer do, I am appalled at the fall in value of the company and have genuine sympathy for the PI's with holdings here. Whether this is a deliberate ploy, as a way for the Boparan family to gain control of the company on the cheap, or just massive mis-management by the BoD, I don't know. It is the case that many of those who used to trust the brand no longer do, seeing it as a means of 2 sisters 'dumping' unwanted produce. The company has added to the dire situation by not making any statement regarding the supply chain. The least palatable option right now would be a bid for the company at this low SP.

They did do a Q3 report on 15th Nov last year, but don't appear to have done any Q reports this year at all. Unusual.

Glad my 319p buy wasn't filled on Friday. Seems to be falling back a tad. Might wait a day or so and see what transpires. Offering a good return though and BoD seem commited to maintaining the 'Specials'.

Well, I for one am expecting a substantial move up today, but I'm sure that LRD is on many potential shopping lists. Personally, I would rather the company exploit it's commanding position in the market and push itself a bit more. No good being the best if nobody knows!
