Can anyone explain why the BOD are pushing for delist. What it actually means other than share no longer trades... and will my current stock disappear or will I still have it if it trades on nex?

I’ve seen similar scenarios at mos don’t really understand what the point of it is and why shareholders often buy up stock to resist.

Surely if BOD aren’t interested in runing the stock on aim it’s going to fail NO? Or this this a ploy for BOD to basically take over the company on the cheap?
