Having invested 4,000 @ £18 some years ago and taking in to account the spin offs . this stock still owes me £15.50 a share just to get back to evens. When are Pru going to look after their share holders. I happened to travel to Blackpool last year and to my surprize I saw a large Pru building which looked totally run down in need of repair. Some what like my shares. Just what is going on. Whilst MNG pays a very good divi the stock sp remains in the doldrums. If had only invested elsewhere.

Remember some years back the Banter between Solgold and GGP as their Sp's boomed. Now both at the starting blocks again GGP through 8p and Solgold Through 10p. Which one will hit the 15p first and then 20p. Good luck every one. GGP or Solgold. Place your bets.

Many moons ago I seem to remember AAZ having taken up interest/holdings in another company. Can someone remind me of that company and what happened ? It came after the Irish Gold one fell through.

Disappointing rise. With the news released today and after all this time would have thought a rise of 40% would have been more like it rather than the 19% i am seeing. Perhaps market waiting for news of actual first payment.

Nearly sold this stock at £1.70 after many years of holding. However as it dropped I still had faith. Now to me seeing all the ups and downs the stars are once again aligning and have started to add again and will do over next few weeks believe has a very good up side of 60p plus. Talking to old colleague of mine who has just returned from Hong Kong where he worked in finance. He said that the best investment Pru could have is to buy back its own shares at current prices. In fact he said they may speed up buy back if SP remains at current levels. He also seems to think Ping An with an eye on Pru's Asian Market holdings is still firmly in the back ground, Now Pru has divested Its American Holdings, what obstacles are left. No ramping from me as I bought 4,000 at £18 and don't believe in miracles ( deduct MNG holdings from that)

Wow, How to complete a circle. Bought my holding in Solg when Tony Blair was PM and I had visited the country Where to all respects this was rumoured to be a stock that would fly. Which it started to do. What a tale sold some off @ 20p after the drop but hung on to the majority. Now long time retired and wondering how long does it take. There is certainly gold their as all those years ago locals were illegally mining the stuff. The government and Solg tried to stop this with enforcement. But believe Police /army took back handers of off miners, then raised issues over pollution if Solgold were to mine to enable them to continue illegally mining. Indeed today we see programmes like Aussie Gold Hunters with their detectors, just wonder how much of that is going on. Many years ago remember an article re shallow gold deposits were found. Thought Government would have benefited from Solg being successful but nothing seems to ring true anymore. Hopefully i'm wrong and something might happen before i'm too old to enjoy it. Must have been a well paid job for someone.
