I do not follow MTL as much as most people but I was surprised to see PJ's comment "before the announcement that Dupax was a failure"

I thought it had gone quiet but I did not realise that such an announcement had been made.

Forgive for posting off topic but does anybody use Sharescope?

I have used it for a long time, but they are making big changes.

I bought my first share in GMET in 2023 (not long ago) for 34p they went up 29p today.

At 2 years I'm not even a Medium Term Holder The Long Term holders will have better tales to tell

Yes Monday night made me forget how much my shares have dipped in the last fortnight.

The Q2 were announced on the 22nd July, the Q1 were announced on 23rd April so I am not expecting them for another couple of weeks

But MTL are not going up as fast as other goldminers.

I say sell half of you MTL ~ buy another gold share ~ double you money in 1 to 3 months ~ go back into MTL with a lot more shares IMHO

We all agree with Lee's long term statements.

But in the meantime there are at least 20 goldmine shares that have gone up 50% in the last month.

About 20 years ago there was a gold mining company called Medusa Mining in the Philippine's, who were mining 20-25k ounces of gold per quarter (about the same as MLT) but they went back to Aus. They are still quoted on ASX but I don't think they mine in the Philippines.

Overnight a very large Australian goldminer Greatland Resources announced there output figures for the 2nd Quarter.

These were far below those expected, also the projected AISC was higher than expected and the share price has tanked down by 20-25%.

It has had a knock on effect with all goldminers

Condor_forever you have not stated the profitability of Aris.

They make little profit for their turnover unlike MTL. That is why their SP is relatively low

It is one of the gold/silver miners that would be ripe for takeover and DB to sort out.

Quite rightly everyone is looking forward to the Q2 production figures at the end of this month, but also the half year interims should be out about 23rd August (based on last year) there should be more information in these

There was a lot of talk about dividends a few days ago.

I think the dividends advocates slightly exaggerated what DB has said about dividends. I agree he has mentioned dividends but not real positive statement.

I believe, and hope, that he is watching other goldminers and any spare cash will be accumulated to make another acquisition when he has La india up and running

I am afraid the Brokers Note saying the SP target value of 18p by Hannan & Partners is too complicated for my simple brain.

What I do understand is that today MTL has a capital value of £380M.

Darren says MTL will be a 2billion company. That's a five fold increase with a SP of 65p

I have 1.5M shares ~ that will make me a MTL millionaire. The only trouble is that I am just turned 86.

I the past I have been unhappy how many options some of the directors of the other companies are awarded, however I think Darren deserves every option he has

The only downside the AGM is June 16th ~ my birthday!!!!

The next three months are going to be very interesting.

Later this months the audited accounts for 2024 will be published. Because we follow every scrap of news, we have a pretty good idea of what they will say. But some analysts only take notice of the audited figures and are suspicious of information generated within the Company. There should be an SP uplift when these are analysed.

The AGM will be held in June. Presumably Darren and other management will attend, this will enable those of us attending to ask questions which we are eager to know the answer.

Finally July will provide the 2nd quarter production figures.

We had a flurry of videos earlier perhaps there will be another in the next three months.
