Agree Pranchalee. Now it's clear that the small placing is bridging finance until the JORC allows the JV/sale to be finalised and the numbers plugged in. Summer sounds about right; otherwise the placing would have been larger. Meanwhile it's steady as she goes.

OMR the Official Monster Loony Raving Party still exists, and will probably be looking for support in the next election, which ought not to be too hard to find. Compared to the clowns in Westminster, they strike me as eminently sensible and intelligent. One point from their last manifesto was that they plan to nationalise crime to make sure it doesn't pay. I think I'd believe that before I'd ever again believe the manifesto promises of the main parties.

Funky - Larry is certainly encouraging in the clip (thanks again) and I believe he is sincere when he says he cannot understand why the sp is so low. I think the reason that Larry is excited because he knows what's really happening with the company, whilst we can only guess and take his word for it. So it all comes down to whether or not you can trust Larry. Seeing the pre-LJ history of the company, it's not surprising that trust is pretty scarce among shareholders. But I've been very positive about him since he arrived and have always felt that he saved the company from sure bankruptcy, among other things. So I believe him and, if he's excited, I'm excited too. My guess is that the rest of the market will soon be very excited as well and that the sp will reflect that.

It's all very strange and I'm genuinely puzzled. The first thing that came to mind was that these were GC's buddies front-running some good news. But as the buying continued I started to doubt that he has THAT many friends. It would also be a bit obvious as insider trading. (Not that things like that matter on the AIM.) The only thing I can say with some degree of confidence is that all will probably be revealed very soon, for better or for worse. What do you make of it?

BTW that big sell will probably be reportable, won't it? Would be nice to know who's behind it.

Or the MMs still have plenty of inventory to get rid of from yesterday's big sell.

I've been here for quite a while also and here's something that's still bothering me from way back. Whatever happened to that 1000 ton sample that went into a bonded warehouse and then seems to have disappeared? Ah well, that was pre-LJ, so we'll just forget it.

I think 5 might be more like it. If we're lucky.

Why such a low amount? If you're going to the trouble of a placing, why not raise what you'll need for a while? My guess is that this is a "special purpose" job - probably the most tax-efficient way to slip Larry a bit of pay or bonus.

I used to own shares in a virtually worthless company that had a high share price because people believed in the promises and didn't know at the time that the company was worthless.. Now I own shares in a far more solid and well-managed company that has realistic promise, although the share price is much lower. May sound crazy to some, but I know which one I prefer. Build on solid foundations instead of air, and you may not make a quick profit, but you'll probably make more in the end. And Larry is our solid foundation.

I do hope we get tantalum instead of jam.

To me "by 2Q" means before 1 April. Otherwise one ought to have said "by end 2Q". In the real world, I'm with Pranchalee - sometime in April.

I agree on the face of it, this RNS ought to have had a much better reaction. But let's not forget that this share has been laid out on a slab in the mortuary for a year or more. There's probably only a handful of us left who still actively follow KZG waiting patiently for Lazarus to be raised. Yes the news was very encouraging but for there to be any kind of an sp reaction, people have to know about it. So before we jump to any conclusions about the disappointing reaction, let's give the news time to get around a bit. I think the impatient sellers today will regret their hasty move (and probably buy back in later). Those early buyers on the open today got the news hot off the presses and reacted exactly right.

Good chance of a JV with a deep-pocketed partner! Exactly what I've been hoping for! All the pieces starting to fall into place. This is a far better RNS than would appear at first sight.

Just normal MMs price-setting I'd say. Yesterday morning they got the full asked, but then there were two large sells, so the next buy was at alower price. There's been steady selling since then so the MMs lowered their prices to shift inventory. A few decent buys and the buys will be back at higher prices, perhaps even 2.50 on the second or third trade.
