Funny, I don't hear anyone complaining about mm's upward manipulation of the sp.

Yes, I know this might just be a golden opportunity to buy at a ridiculously low price. But somehow, with all the uncertainty and ongoing selling, I just don't have the b-lls to do it and, I suspect, neither do most other potential buyers. Which is about as neat an explanation for the current sp as you'll get.

Sounds to me like they've finally reached agreement with the partners to proceed and the test equipment has just now been ordered As we know, there's a couple of weeks of lead time with this equipment, so GL has probably been promised delivery on 17 June. I'm not concerned about this delay (oil price stinks anyway), but I am concerned about why the long discussion with the partners was necessary in the first place. There's plenty here we're not being told at the moment.

And Angus continues its unbroken record of issuing RNSs that raise more questions than they answer. They have raised this to an art form!

Yanis, most companies wouldn't let their shareholders know anything before announcing the results of the flow test. Some companies would report that the test had begun. But I don't think too many companies would report that equipment had been ordered, regardless of how important some shareholders think it is. I think that would fall more under the heading of handholding than reporting of a significant development. Really, you can't expect an RNS every time they flush the loo. But in the case of the "new Angus", GL has raised expectations about staying in close contact with the shareholders and now he does seem to be slipping a bit by his own standards. I expect this week to make things a lot clearer. We might just be in for a couple of surprises.

gpmh1, yes I'd very much like to see more shares in the hands of instututions as LT holders too. But what intrigues me now is where the sold shares are going at the moment. Could be a large buy from an institution - we can only hope. lol

The falling share price appears to be fully justified by the trading. In fact, seeing the balance of buys/sells, I'm surprised it hasn't fallen more. But what really has me wondering is where all those shares are going. It's either to the MMs books (and/or their position-taking divisions) or there's a very big buy order getting filled. One way or another, they seem to be absorbing quite a few shares.

The dividend is the safety net.

I have the same feeling - that it's a partnership issue rather than a well issue. I hope we're right.

But seriously, I agree that we are due some news. My own expectation would be sometime in June, but exactly when is anyone's guess.

Funky, if an RNS lands tomorrow, it will instill great faith in the new "1 quid signal". Here's hoping.

I know there are days when trading is active and I know there are days with no trading at all, but days with total trading of 2 quid is a new one on me. Is this the new "1 share signal"? lol Strange, whatever it is.

If an mm wants to buy 10 mln shares, who will he buy from? Himself?

mr 008, perhaps you could tell us how the mms will subscribe for the entire oo without owning the 50 shares per? And why they would want to subscribe at 4.25 when they can buy for a lower price in the market? If you can explainit, I'm going to become an mm. lol Still, it does appear that there's been something odd going on with the sp since the offer. Perhaps we'll find out what's behind it now that the offer is closing.
