MrWolfdivi, im sure that lenoman isnt the only one who has berated people for spelling mistakes, its the last vestige of the online troll when they have nothing intelligent to say to counter another's post. I haven't noticed anyone else doing it but i'll take your word that those posters you mention are also guilty of it. I called it out because its a ridiculously childish thing to do and i thought this board was for adults. Some of the name calling is no better
Lenoman, is that your adult response to you goading someone about their poor spelling? Seriously, as an adult you're happy to try to belittle someone about poor spelling? It's your choice to read someone's posts and how you respond to it, you've chosen to pick up on someone's spelling of all things.
The name calling by many parties on here is pathetic, but you took it to a ridiculously childish level and it seems you want to double-down on it with your they said something to me first approach.
Im extremely balanced in my viewpoint, perhaps you should look at your own posts to consider what's balanced or not.
Have a good day
Its all love and sweetness on here today isn't it! As a group of investors are we now at the stage where we're picking up others on spelling mistakes, its playground level and embarrassing considering that we're all supposed to be adults.
To demonstrate how pathetic it is, Lenoman your earlier post should have been commented, and not commentated as you've posted, and in the same post it should you're and not your. See how easy it is to pick up on another poster's grammar or spelling, but it literally adds nothing to the general bulletin board.
Im sure my posting history will have spelling mistakes or poor grammar like others, but choosing to highlight it is just plain childish. Im sure we can all do better than that.

As a relative newcomer here im pretty surprised at the level of the level of abuse thrown at Toffers. I dont agree with much of what she says and have her blocked as a result, but the comments about wanting her dead and the other stuff is out of line. If, as many claim she has mental health issues then the abuse on here could easily flip her over the edge, if she doesnt the abuse on here could easily give her some. It really is just bullying, plain and simple.
Im looking to invest in the crypto space and unsure whether its better to invest in a miner such as ARB (cant think of any others currently), invest in specific coins directly or invest an an exchange such as Coinbase as they'll make money on volatility and number of trades being processed.
Looking at the chart for ARB i can see it has an exponential rise in 2020, but has gradually dropped all the way from over 300p down to todays price. This seems way overdone considering BTC prices back then, and where it is now. Im sure there was a lot of optimism baked into the 300p share price at the time but even so the drop still seems overdone. What are peoples thoughts on where it went wrong, and the chances of a healthy recovery
Well with such a definitive means of information making its way towards you it could only be true :)
I've know idea how this suggestion would work in practice, i'll leave that to those with a better understanding than I but lets hope theres some truth in it and we can all make some money on our investment here
I asked a question the other day about posts about BritishVolt Deeside so could this somehow be linked in some way? It may well be EUA2 as you say. One question mark over it is that CS spoke about looking forward to retirement which this kind of flies in the face of. Its an interesting find though and provides more questions than answers at this point.
Im going to have a lot of free time over the next 6/8 weeks as i cant work due to just having had some surgery. Im wanting to get some exposure to crypto and also the AI field. On the crypto side what are peoples thoughts, am I better to invest in crypto coins directly through Revolut or Coinbase or in a crypto mining company such as ARB (cant think of any others currently), or invest directly in a crypto exchange such as Coinbase. Im a total newbie to this, and obviously should have been buying crypto 6 months ago as its had a bounce but hindsight is a great thing.
Similarly, with the AI industry the only companies I can think of are NVIDIA and RIOT Platforms, with Amazon and Apple also contenders. All advice welcome :)
The other thing im hoping for some guidance on seeing as im going to have a lot of time to spare is some recommendations for books, webcasts, courses, commentators etc i could do or follow to expand my knowledge of investments and stock markets in general.
I've just spent the last hour or so reading through about months posts on here. Firstly thanks to whoever posted the link re the Mondi sale, that was an interesting link to read. Secondly, there was a bit of chat about BritishVolt in Deeside, can i ask if there are definitive links to EUA or if that was just someone trying to ramp a fairly innocuous situation? Thirdly, there so much speculation on here regarding other posters identities or other lse accounts they post under. I've never really noticed it before but having just spent over an hour reading posts it struck me as how common a theme it is on here.
From my point of view, seriously considering investing a bit more more money here as the board have stated they were hopeful of a sale this year. Its obvious that any sale wont be completed or voted on by year end, but if we get to the offer stage then its a quick process for the board to issue a RNS and let us all know the details. Im still confident of receiving a RNS regarding a proposal or offer this year.
Lenoman, I cant see any large trades late on in the day other than a few of a couple of grand each so i must be looking in the wrong place. Can i ask where you see them, i've looked on the London Stock Exchange trades section but theres none there, in fact all the trades there for today are pretty small is there somewhere else i should be looking to find them? Thanks
LB, when you set the facts out like you have it does make the whole thing seem a farce from both sides as its hard to see what advantage either side was hoping to achieve. I certainly dont understand the intricacies behind the whole thing but my gut instinct tells me that today's news is good news for shareholders, but whether that means this year or next for a for sale of assets i haven't a clue.
The WUP thing seems like a lot of ado about nothing, surely its just a simple disagreement over the level of fees charged for a particular service and the legal firm are trying to bully EUA into paying over-inflated fees? That's my understanding of it anyway but dont profess to have any legal or inside knowledge like others so i could be way off the mark with my basic assumption.
Good luck to us all, and lets hope we get the big news the majority of us are hoping for soon.
I was expecting the well performance news by now too, the share price seems to have settled around 15/16 and is awaiting a new reason to move one way or another. Hopefully the well performance is greater than anticipated and the share price reacts very positively
I like to think so Mizman, i dont think Christian would have used the term this year in the AGM unless he had good reason to do so. The whole process will take time but im still positive about shareholders being made aware of an offer for us to vote on prior to the end of 2023. Whether that be for MT or WK im not sure , but with the DFS completed for MT my gut instinct is that it will be for that.
Thanks makeabundle, i agree that not mining WK is a decisions that concerns me but my comfort blanket so to speak is exactly as you say, the board know much more about whats going on in the boardroom and behind the scenes than i ever will so its a question of do i trust them or not. I personally do
But, the flip side being we do have MT to sell, we do have WK to sell and we do have the concentrate to sell albeit at a decreasing value.
From what i can gather, MT is prepared and and ready for work to be started on by a new owner depending on how they want to mine, WK has had a lot of preparation work done and again is ready to go for a new owner. Both must have a saleable value which is what the board are working on trying to achieve.
Without a sale of assets the company will struggle to survive as things stand, so will at some point have to decide if they're going to either place shares or drawdown on the sinosteel loan and mine ourselves
