Mr Cheeks job is to get funding. short term from RF (he will need their agreement for drawdown if SP doesn't rise above 16p). Easiest way to facilitate funding is by announcing significant sales that beat market expectations (I'm not sure whether the SP has any sales of AIHL to hospitals in greater manchester built in, one assumes not).

This is a very good point. Whilst Mr Starres was utterly wrong for 3 years as GDR SP fell from 300p to 12p (with the occassional spikes), he has been right over the last 5 or 6 months when it fell from 40p to 12p. Better late than never, I suppose.

Can one man really save GDR? Possibly, he only has to make genuine commercial sales of GDR products to beat Mr Budd's record. But then he only has about 4-6 months to do this , assuming SP remains below 16p and RF do not permit drawdowns. I assume Mr Cheeks first phone calls will be to friends and family in the industry in an attempt to make quick sales.

Mr Shady, and by that you obviously think Mr Budd resigned because things are going well with GDR finances. First CFO resigns after finding a new position with a growth company and now CEO resigns forthwith ie pushed out of the door.

To the rampers who need a reality check, the resignation of the CEO is it. GDR are running out of cash fast. The new CEO needs to make sales (as mentioned in the RNS , he has experience selling to NHS) , otherwise GDR will cease to exist . RF deal was the death spiral for Mr Budd and GDR are all too aware that it's turning into the death spiral for GDR. I wonder whether GDR can exit the deal now by simply not making any further drawdowns, anyone? If they can, the new CEO may be able to raise funding in a more traditional manner ie massive share dilution.

Very interesting development which may well nudge the SP above 16p. Why? I feel Mr Cheek is hired on the condition he buys a significant number of shares asap. SP is already up.

Perhaps GDR could raise funds through a charity bixing match between mr starres stocksaint and Mr Stephen11 (assuming he's not a child). Would be great publicity for GDR.

Wrt funding Innovate had a 100m budget to be shared between west midlands, glasgow and manchester. Let assume 25m each. the article only refers to genedrive and mentions 4.1m. Perhaps manchester hospitals will get 4.1m of a potential 25m grant? Obvisouly the 4.1m is NOT for GDR but the hospitals working with GDR. Presumably the hospitals will then pay GDR for services eg machines from the 4.1m budget. The 4.1m budget will also fund the data collection by the hospitals, the data collection is all the work. The big question for GDR investors imo, is the pricing of GDR's stroke product and services so we have an idea about sales. There is one thing GDR has never shared and thats the pricing model and their expected sales, unless I'm mistaken. But for a company who has never sold anything it would be a bit cheeky of them to tell investors how much revenue sales will generate.
