Main market is an advantage imo if anything with greater disclosure rules, regulations and liquidity. If it were me I'd dump the Sol and go all in on Btc but we definitely agree that whatever they do newsflow is key and with any luck (especially with enough of us nudging them), they'll crack on and action the announced btc treasury while making a bit of noise about it. Market will take care of rest.

I've contacted them and broker to (politely) ask them to increase newsflow and nudge them to follow model of sector success stories like swc/coin. It's such a no brainer but a reminder can't hurt and I would encourage others to do likewise. They have a certain window to catch a ride on this hype train and need to be proactive about it.

CYK talked themselves out of the game by mentioning years imo, it appears their btc treasury is more of a side gig. Makes Clai pretty much the only main market btc treasury focused stock that I'm aware of, so an opportunity if management grasp it.

So at least we know they are being advised with someone with a recent track record of delivering pretty stellar shareholder value.

All makes sense. Absolutely key for me was directors' subscription, decent skin in game exactly what you want to see, plus being at the later market close price, after the interims of 0.64p, rather than lower price from initial announcement. Shows they are savvy enough to use SWC model of not discounting but using market close price, even though in this case it cost them personally. Using this model for subscriptions going forward will lay solid foundation and enable kickstarting that price action virtuous cycle.

Agree, on the one hand it's presented this opportunity but on other now needs for them to light the spark. They don't even need to do anything radical, just literally follow SWC model. Dead simple, buy btc, market price bookbuild, repeat. This being main market arguably has an edge over SWC because a lot of people can't/won't touch Aquis. Total open goal for company.

Agree it would be tough on a human level, people would most certainly lose their jobs. On the other hand, looking at it clinically the debt is a problem when revenue is in decline and losses accumulating to this extent. Practically speaking it's not clear how close they are to trading insolvently at present but they do have this hard deadline of October to sort the RCF.

Good news as much as it would make sense imo, admin remains unlikely if only because of Boohoo sunk cost fallacy and as I mentioned they won't want to crystallise the loss. Coupled with Frasers rivalry should salvage something at least for equity here.
