Aside from the posts below I wonder what people make of the results. The overall performance doesn’t look good and the SLA space “remains challenging”. On the plus side the interim divi is up so it’s not all bad. Plus the news on the Indian JV. So maybe we’ll see a little rise today.

Just need a reality check here. We are still very much an exploration company with no revenue and quite a long way to go to production. Some were overtaken by enthusiasm, I think, hence the quick run up to 6p+. Above all we need to remember that, Despite the new direction, new team and new projects this is Africa. Good Corp governance is rare, and corruption rife. Difficult place to do business, esp DRC. So caution is recommended, please don’t throw the kitchen sink in.
Luck all, G
WOBP ..hmm maybe you should’ve not hovered ! No news today.
G
So, they’re not doing a placing. That deserves a “boom” comment? This will only boom when we get some positive news, not a status quo statement from management. Why does that mean anything? Lol

Ha, DD, I was also at Sprowston Manor. Very interesting evening. I was very interested in JP’s assessment that the sp was in a disconnect with the value of the company. By a long way. An assertion backed up by recently joined CFO, JJ.
As a mere pi I must say that I agree wholeheartedly!
Look forward to the rerate which will begin with Te-9 results which will no doubt rekindle interest in SOU.

So, 43 days to deadline for rig delivery. Looking forward to news of its arrival and it’s improved workover capacity. Then the fun begins and workover programme accelerates, improvin* daily production and cash flow.
Lots to look forward to as the teams get to grips with the old soviet wells with their dodgy workmanship and their sloppy/misleading record keeping.
All to play for, but not a multibagger overnight.

All too true Crude. No, not seen Entro at all lately. In fact, it must be a year or two. I too miss a lot of the old names on ii. Drifted away through disinterest and a moribund sp. in the case of SOU. And, of course the absolute shambles of the new ii platform. Only reason I’ve popped in here today is to see how the other half live. (Lol).
Good luck.
G
Nice to see you here, Crude. You are so right. I may well start a new thread on here if there are more of your ilk around. I remember well your input to the ii site so I may well make a contribution. Lots to talk about to interest the seriously minded. And those who may be seriously invested like me. (As opposed to the get rich quick types who expect the sp to double in a couple of weeks again)
G
Davey, I could say that SOU is way undervalued, that Te-9 is just another well that will prove up the Tagi and the Paleozoic, that JP and the team have yet to release the bombshell news about the LE. And much more, but clearly it would be wasted on here. If the II site wasn’t so screwed up I wouldn’t be here at all.
P51. Your response proves my point and is not worthy of further comment :-)))
Good luck.

NO RNS, YET!!!
Since there hasn’t been an “on topic” post this month, I was wondering if any one had recently researched TPG? Seems to be a solid forward thinking group with plenty of lucrative contacts! G
Reading that someone has been here for 11 years prompted me to ask that question. I seem to remember that Hardie was originally in their stable. Proventec went off In the wrong direction (cleaning products) but, I believe Hardide was spun out before that happened. Was in Proventec for a while but more recently discovered HDD was still around and beginning to get somewhere so Im back in after maybe 15 years (?). Their tech has been through a long, long proving up process and after the oil industry collapse and rebirth, has become a market leader in its field. Bring on the aero, then well see some movement (and a bit more than the odd 10%!!).
