So I decided to do a little digging to see what I could find, really to prompt some debate as I'm no scientist/expert. Indeed, much of the science goes way over my head but I was wondering if either article below was relevant or of interest (Thoth, Fadec, Stoney, RMM, etc. might wish to comment - I value greatly your contributions). I apologize in advance if either article has been posted previously or if they are really not relevant to Sareum.
The first article examines potential treatments for SARS-CoV-2 infection. I was drawn to section 14 (Janus kinases inhibitors) for obvious reasons:

As someone trying to get their head around what Sareum's potential actually is I found both articles of interest. Hope others do, too. All best, Glen.

Sareum March 18th, 2020, share price = 0.245
April 20th, 2020, share price = 0.90
Roughly, a 270% increase in just over a month. Todays retrace = 20% (as we speak).

Now look at NCYT (a different beast, I know, but....)
Jan 29th, 2020, share price = 15p
Feb 3rd, 2020, share price = 48.5p
Roughly, a 220% increase. Then came the retrace on Feb 5th to 37p (just over 20%). Thereafter, we all know what happened to NCYT (a rise to 5.17 on 9th April, or a more than 1000% increase).
Just trying to put todays fall into context and remind people of the potential here. NCYT are merely a diagnostics company. Sareum may have a drug that saves lives. Which is more valuable?

So I implore LTHs to hang in there. If I remember correctly, Thoth's target was 28p. I, for one, am not selling until then. Our patience (which was akin to that of a saint - no, not Utahsaints!) should be rewarded, do you not think? GLA.

No news can be good news, but I think, on the whole, we're all hoping for good news soon. That, Utah, does not constitute negativity, nor a loss of confidence. It merely reflects an understandable and growing impatience. Your constant sniping and poisonous comments (in an attempt, I suspect, to unnerve weaker hands so that you might pick up a few shares on the cheap) is indeed negative and frankly insidious. If SAR is such a dog, why not sell up and move on - do us all a favour? Rant over and out.

Stoney, I respect your contributions but your latest post has an air of panic about it. What's new? We were already aware that SRRA were pursuing "non-dilutive strategic options" for SRA737, so reducing their spending costs would be in line with what was previously known. It doesn't mean that they are not in talks with other parties to on-license SRA737 does it? I thought that was the current expectation, but maybe you know something I don't?

I check in and we're down 7.35%. What has changed? Anyone? People say 'no news is good news'. Evidently that's total nonsense regarding this share. Then people say 'sell on news'. So what the **** am I supposed to do? I just see the value of this share diminishing. Can someone please tell me why I should hold?

Ditto. Only another 160% rise and we break even. Happy days! (But, fwiw, I'm still a believer/dreamer!)

Kudos, Utahsaints. Your Sunday post (@7:06am) was spot on. Indeed, you've called this share's gyrations correctly much of the time. Where now, one wonders. Only another 200% increase and I break even. But as Potnak has said, I'm not sure what has changed in the last week. The science is still compelling, surely. Also, I do think the mutinous talk on this BB recently has only succeeded in adding fuel to the fire (allowing the mms to profit). Let's continue to scrutinise the workings of the board, but perhaps have faith that they are working hard to deliver for all of us (including themselves). Apologies if I'm rambling...

Just to clarify, are you saying that I should, or should not, sell (I'm a little confused)?

I don't mind admitting I bought in here at 40p a share. I finally bailed out at 9p a share. Yes, 9p a share, a level most of you can only dream of. I'm so glad I did. To watch this unfolding is really sad. Patience is most certainly a virtue but the current bod are taking shareholders for fools. My advice is don't be taken in. There is zero value left. Get out while you can. It will be painful for many, but ponder the way in which the bod have behaved and vote with your feet.

Have been invested here for a few years now, pretty much after my father died of ALL. My sole investment decision was based on the idea that I just wanted to support a company that were (among other things) showing promise in the area of Leukaemia that had claimed my father's life. I have held ever since. Recent trading patterns, however, suggest something is afoot. I agree with Aberystwyth. Can't see huge volatility on the 8th as most of the increased volume has been purchased around the ask. Who's going to sell at the same price at which they bought? I should add, as an after thought, that I had a vivid dream recently. I sold my Sareum shares at 4.92 (I assume pence, not pounds!). I usually don't remember my dreams, so perhaps this is a sign! Stock, ACA (or ABG, as it was back in the day) never hit 60p, as Treacle suggested. The lowest it went (and that was intraday) was c.92p. I know this because I bought at 108p one day (I think in July 2013 if I remember correctly), and the very next day it went down (around 10%). I thought "what the hell have I done?!", only for the following day for it to finish at 112p. Thereafter it rose steadily, up to a high of roughly 650p. I agree anything below 100p would be a screaming buy, but 60p - really? Negotiate an agreement with the GoT, and this share should take off. PoG is always a factor, but with debt at a record high, a correction to the markets must be imminent. I'm still on the sidelines, but watching carefully. GLA.

My thoughts exactly, Rusty. Echoes of TCG a few years back. Focusing on online sales, closing expensive and non-performing branches, restructuring debt, were exactly the measures TCG employed to turn their business around. My only worry is that MTC were slow on the uptake. TCG realised the error of their ways 5 years ago. Can MTC survive? The jury are still out, but can we allow a household name retailer to go under? My inkling, fwiw, is that this will rebound (and probably quite rapidly). 1 pound by Xmas? Any thoughts?

I have been watching ACA from the sidelines for quite some time. As ABG, I did well from the share and wonder whether now is the time to invest. My problem is state interference (the GoT) and the apparently trumped up charges/fines being levied. This whole situation has court of arbitration written all over it, which could take years to resolve, and which could in the meantime decimate shareholder value (witness OXS vs the Uzbekistan government, and many others). My advice, for what it's worth, is wait for confirmation of an agreement between all parties involved and (assuming it's positive) pile in then. Anything below a pound a share would be worth a punt, but at current levels leave well alone.

Shwmae, sadly, I feel there is little, or anything, to salvage from this. I hope to be proved wrong, just as I have been proved wrong that Oxus had a case to be answered in the first instance. To Pettycash/Pennyfalls, my humble apologies. You were always the voice of reason. I chose not to listen, and am now down 8K pounds. This was profit from this and other shares so, like the Grand Old Duke of York, I'm neither up nor down. But, it still hurts. Many lessons to be drawn.... Truly hope that all can move on from here, and that 2016 proves to be a better year. Personally, am looking at AMA, if anyone is looking to recover losses. Pettycash, any views?
