Not sure if anyone has already posted this article from Monday, but well worth a read. From what I can glean, it seems inconceivable that we won't receive funding to explore the potential of our SDC-1801 TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor in the fight against the worst effects of Covid-19. Here's hoping anyway!

Just wondering about people's exit strategies here. Mine has always been to sell half my holding when I make 100% profit, thereby de-risking the rest and allowing them to play out, whatever the outcome. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Definitely food for thought, but I believe any grant approval will indeed send the SP much higher as the stakes are so high. Any company that can demonstrate efficacy in the treatment of the symptoms of Covid-19 will become hugely attractive to investors and could enable the world economy to emerge from this enforced kind of hibernation that we have been witnessing and thereafter return to some kind of normality. Could Sareum be the key? It's a long shot, I know, but stranger things have happened (look at Novacyt, as an example of investor appetite for a company at the vanguard of the coronavirus fight).

Sorry, but there is an air of desperation about BoilB's link. The fact that Tim mentions his contact number twice suggests to me that they are still looking for partners. Why else? (Perhaps, for a ruse, we should all call it and ask Tim what the f is going on!!) There are also two proof-reading errors, including "SRA373 in combination with LDG and anti-PD-L1 in a SCLC model". Where, pray, has SRA373 emerged from? Anyone?? It all beggars belief that they could be so inept as to allow errors like this to be posted publicly on their website. Or am I being anal? Please, don't respond to the latter question, as I feel I have already been royally shafted by the BOD in that particular department. GLA.

Indeed, I emailed Sierra last week asking for some clarification regarding their plans for SRA737. Needless-to-say, I'm still awaiting a response. But, perhaps to have responded would have been deemed insider info, so I'm definitely erring on the side of something is brewing. Fingers crossed.

As far as I can work out, the argument is regarding patent approval. In this respect, I think both sides are correct. Fadec (I think it was) suggested that a stumbling block to progress was the fact that patent approval is still pending in the US, and until that is clarified no licensing deal is likely to be agreed. Dark Horse pointed out that actually patents had been granted, in Europe and in the Far East (namely Japan and China), as per the Sareum website. So both are correct, or am I over-simplifying things?

Rioting is a stretch. There is dissatisfaction, mainly because the economy has been hit hard (Thailand relies heavily on exports and tourism), and people are looking for someone to blame for their financial woes. But I see this all over the world and I'm not sure the UK is much different. As far as managing the health crisis arising from Covid-19, Thailand has escaped relatively unscathed (only 58 deaths at the last count) which points to sound management on the part of the Thai government. I would be careful about believing a news outlet that gave succor to Osama bin Laden when he was alive, or one that has been accused of "promoting the Muslim Brotherhood, and having a pro-Sunni and an anti-Shia bias in its reporting of regional issues".

The crisis in Thailand? Could you elaborate? I live in Thailand (Bangkok) and am not sure what you're talking about. Incidentally, Al Jazeera news is Qatari state-owned. Do you really believe their reporting is free from "political bias"?

A glance at the share price performance over the last couple of years would tend to support Alamal's point of view. What concerns me more, however, is the Chinese connection, as the blame game for Covid-19 will only intensify, and China's strong-arming of the Hong Kong people will only create further tensions between London and Beijing. GFM could be a great recovery play (as deltaseeker suggests), but the risks for me are too great at the moment.

No problem selling 1m at 0.875p (dummy sell). Looks like shares are in demand. Still holding, despite my rant regarding poor comms. GLA, really feel this time it is different. Volumes speak, well, volumes! Fingers crossed.

So yesterday's rise was a surprise. Today's was bewildering, particularly in the absence of news regarding the impending contract. Then the speeding ticket, reminding all and sundry that the expected contract would require the services of two (yes two, only) techies for 5 months. So, what can we surmise?
(1) The contract is worth, what, 50,000 - 100,000 quid? It's certainly a foot in the door, I grant you, but hardly the stuff dreams are made of.
(2) Today was a classic pump and dump. I truly feel for anyone who bought in above 15p - I guess many of us have been there. I still believe that PYC will come good eventually, but it's going to be a much more steady (requiring patience) rise I would think.
(3) And then there's riddler, ramping this and DMTR to high heaven, giving short shrift to anyone cautioning the wisdom of investing in these stocks (check out the Stig over on ADVFN). Well, when I called him out on DMTR he took umbrage. All I'm saying is be wary of people like him, persuasive as he may be. Today goes to show what can happen when you follow the herd.

Thanks share4. What irked was that he dismissed what I considered to be a reasonable observation (re: DMTR's website that my 10 year old could design better) and poured scorn on my investment in SAR. Who's laughing now? Also, riddler, I thought you were going to filter me? Go on then!
