OK, but "additional funding" suggests to me "dilution". I could well be wrong, though, and, as I say, not necessarily bad for the sp over time. I think it was some dude called Dr Z (or maybe Professor Z - he sounded quite knowledgeable, whatever) who had worked out that after every raise Sareum's sp had actually increased (after the initial noise had died down). So, bring it on is what I say!

Well, I'm afraid to say that in the Chairman's and CEO's Statement in their Half-year Report (dated 23rd April, 2021) we find this: "For both its TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor programmes, the Directors will continue to review the potential higher value of a later-stage licensing deal versus the requirement for any additional funding." A raise, therefore, is still a distinct possibility, although not necessarily a disaster for the sp (at least over time), and thus we should not dismiss it as "scaremongering".

LeMajor, I think you misunderstand the nature of RNSs. It's a compliance issue. The LSE provide a reporting and notification service, enabling listed companies to comply with local market transparency legislation. Companies can't, therefore, just pick and choose when they release information willy nilly, as there may well be accusations leveled of insider dealing should it become apparent that the SP had been in some way manipulated. The 3:54pm Friday RNS (to which you refer) was issued when it was, not because Sareum wanted to limit the damage (FLT3 was a non-runner with the Chinese), but because by law they had to. Anyway, if I remember correctly, in the last 36 minutes of trading on that fateful Friday back in January the SP tanked significantly. Be careful what you wish for. News will come when it comes, for better or worse. GLA.

...are we to question our rationale for investing here based on the ramblings of one poster who can barely string a coherent sentence together? For example, the word 'too' is used thus: "I like music, too"; "Too much of a good thing is bad for you". However, "to do something" - as in, using the infinitive of the verb (to fund, to change, to give) - the word is "to". Also, ending every sentence with an exclamation mark - as if you've just made a witty remark, or that this is the punchline of the whole sentence - is just plain idiocy when there is nothing amusing, and irritating in the extreme. Yet the board hangs on every word of this imbecile! He can barely write English, let alone decipher the language of scientific research papers. It's clear to me that he is trying to undermine the confidence of investors here, yet we have a cohort of admirers who defend his unintelligible posts. I prefer to be guided by Tim and John, to be honest, which is why I remain invested here despite the attempts of some to weaken my resolve. GLA.

Hi Utah, this from 15th February, 2021 (PYC) RNS - "Physiomics will receive a fee (capped at £6m) of 6% of any future net revenues that may be received by ValiRx relating to its commercialisation of VAL201 and its derivatives in any indication, including prostate cancer, endometriosis and treatment for Coronavirus infection." I guess the intimation is that PYC will also benefit from any buyout of VAL by AZN, that is if you believe the authenticity of the leaked emails.
