Fadec was continually quoting from an investment report (sorry, I forget the name it) which stated that fair value for Sareum was 1.38p per share, this being when we were at around the 2.40p mark. I guess he missed the boat. I agree he brought balance to the board, if by that you mean he counter-balanced our positivity with his negativity. The main thing that irked me was that one needed a degree in linguistics to decipher his posts, and he insisted on using exclamation marks when there was nothing amusing about what he was saying.

Of course, in bingo, the number 27 can be called in two ways:
1) Duck and a crutch (the number 2 looks like a duck and the number 7 looks like a crutch), or
2) Gateway to Heaven (rhymes with [twenty] seven).
I know which of the two I'd prefer the "27" trade to imply! GLA.

Jonjon, I first bought in around the 0.80p level. It fell over time to 0.25p. I was in shreds, wondering what the hell I was doing. I've held firm, despite everything. You need to be clear about the science/potential, and then you need a definite exit strategy. I'm clear about the science. My exit is anything above 40p. For me, everything else is noise. Perhaps you might see things the same way?

It's worth looking at the 5-day chart for SAR (up 45%, as I type), or even the one month chart (up 115%, currently) to remember how well the SP has performed recently, and thus not to be too dismayed by the retrace we've witnessed yesterday and today. Nothing has changed, except of course that the trolls have arrived in droves, trying to sow 'fud' among the genuine investors. Large retraces have been the norm ever since I have been invested here (often around the 33-50% mark) so I really feel this has been manufactured to scare people into selling. Don't be fooled! Anyway, I wish everyone invested here all the very best.

From the latest RNS: "The UKRI-funded Covid-19 research project for SDC-1801 continues on schedule with the experimental phases finishing by the end of June and the data analysis to complete shortly thereafter. The Company will provide a further update once the relevant data are available." Sounds to me we're looking at the first couple of weeks of July for news, so it might be a little longer than "2 weeks away max".

I have been pondering whom our HNWI might be. Covid-19 has devastated many businesses, but none more so than the airline industry. If I was the boss of Virgin Atlantic or Ryanair for example I would be actively encouraging any and all measures to get people traveling again. Richard Branson's net worth? 5.2 billion USD. Michael O'Leary's net worth? 848.6 million euros. Moreover, this from RB's Wikipedia page: 'In March 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic which saw a dramatic decline in international air travel of around 60% globally, Branson and Virgin attracted criticism by asking staff to take eight weeks' unpaid leave. In response to the global pandemic, Branson put his luxury Necker Island up as collateral for a commercial loan to save Virgin Atlantic. SCHeckler, it's not my place to give advice - a profit is a profit, after all - but I suspect there are a lot of LTHs on a free ride who are prepared to hold, no matter what. This then might well affect the liquidity/availability of shares which in turn will force the MMs to raise the ask. So your 300,000 shares could be worth a whole lot more in the future if only you wait patiently. Just my opinion.

classic123, if you've already sold out (doubling your money, as per your 9/6 post - congratulations, by the way), why on earth are you still posting on this board, warning us of how much of a gamble this share is? Unless, of course, you sold out too early and want to get back in at a lower price by scaring investors into selling, and posting comments like "I remember quite a few years ago when this was going up drastically by 100/200% and all were saying bring on the £1 club, only to bring about the speeding ticket and before you knew it kept sliding back . Remember this is Aim stock and it is just a gamble." Thanks for the advice, but I think your motive is quite transparent. You need to remember you're dealing with a board that have done their research and have encountered the likes of you many times before. Be happy with your 100%, but don't take us for fools, there's a good chap.

It will be a roller coaster, for sure, unless of course we get bought out. Let's see. But when, sometimes, I need a reality check is when I remember buying in around 0.40p, and seeing an increase of 0.80p today. As I said the other day, this is just the beginning. Even at today's sp, many people will become millionaires, if only you hold. All best everyone.

Since then, the sp has risen from 2.60p to 4.30p (or thereabouts). The 900,000 subscription raise was, imo, a major event as it helped to alleviate any concerns over a future potential cash call. Also, the terms suggested 5p would be incoming at some point as that was the price warrants might be exercised at. Just imho.

And whom do we have as non-executive director on the BoD of Sareum? Dr Michael Owen, the co-founder and first CSO of Kymab Ltd. I know some people view the number of shares in issue as a problem, but if a similar deal can be struck then $1.45 billion would translate into roughly 31p per share (if my math is correct). We certainly have the science, and we certainly have the experience on board. Can we connect the dots?

"Dr Steve Emmett is the Acting Chief Medical Officer at Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, Porton Down and is a Consultant Pharmaceutical Physician specialising in medical countermeasure drug development and toxicology. Steve is the medical advisor to the advance development programme delivering future therapeutic interventions for chemical and biological threats to the UK." I suspect that Porton Down will be leading the research into Covid-19, particularly if it is deemed to have originated in the Wuhan Virology Institute. Furthermore, it would be inconceivable that Dr Emmett is not aware of Sareum's compounds, given the US Army link with Lupus and the connection with China (via Aurora flt3 and SAR 20347, as alluded to earlier by Thoth). The plot thickens.

As far as I can see, wip, there appear to be 4 treatments (only) currently being assessed - EIDD-2801, VIR-7831/7832, and Nitazoxanide. Just my own take, there definitely seems to be a paucity of potential treatments being tested.
