@Chesh may actually add to the bottom line if a family test was done daily, as the cost for a full house of a test each might be beyond the reach of the average family, but wold ensure that more people test everyday and reduce the risk of transmission so much quicker and faster, and cheaper for society
@Newuncle the benefits to society far outweigh the risk of a rogue selfish idiot. Honestly, stupid or otherwise, if you knew one of your mates had symptoms and asked you to take a test to allow him go to the football, would you, risking yourself, your extended family and workmates, just for the selfish friend who cares about nobody?
@Paulcon62, this is precisely the functionality of the breath test. What if an annual checkup involves a test for throat or lung cancer? What is you wish to confirm whether you have a viral or bacterial flu, or perhaps TB, getting the best treatment instead of trial and error?
@newuncle if the intention is to cheat, you will cheat, at the risk and health of your friends and associates. The same thing applies to any test, HIV for instance for safe sex is as good an example of putting others at risk.
@Chesh, Not a stupid thought at all.
The objective is to capture the virus using the binding agent on the nano-photonic microchip. If you blow on the chip 3 or 4 times (or 15-20 times as 4 to 5 family members), and the transfer the microchip to the scanner, if the virus is present, then that is what would be detected and all members of the family would need to isolate.
@Burt2000 I can confirm that all of the technology is already proven in other areas outside of what we are doing, individually. We looked at this from an engineering perspective to solve a societal problem, not only to detect the virus. So simple answer is nobody is doing what we are doing as an end to end solution, with joined up thinking to solve a global problem, not just an individual diagnostic problem
At last UK finally waking up to reality for many countries months ago.

@Bumblehum. Your description is exactly how we see this. Digital healthcare is the way forward. With absolute respect to PCR and Antigen and Antibody tests, even pregnancy tests are analogue. That is a whole lot of plastic tests, with a whole lot of content to be disposed of.
Two issues. Are you going to walk around all day with your two blue lines to show anyone at the entry of an office, bus, train, airport, hospital, bar, restaurant, nightclub before the let you in?
How do you prove you verify, through a third party, that you took the test, what time and how long is left before you need to take another test?
With 8m tonnes of plastic dumped in the oceans every year, how many tonnes of plastic test kits will end up floating on the beaches of our seashore if billions need to take tests?
Who has thought it through, fully, with a sustainable means to testing, capturing the hazardous (virus infected) test unit and what will they do if there is no end to end solution to dispose of the hazardous waste?
@Paulcon62, I get that and it is no different to when the share price was just below 2p in March and then went to 0.83p . Building a business takes time and the same for wealth. Nobody like to nurse paper losses, let alone having to sell at a loss. There is a mountain of research in the market on RNS, many good (private) analysts have given of their time and research to allow private investors to do their research and with the facts matching the promises the last 2 years have been positive for those who came in early. Those who came in recently I hope realise that management and staff are aligned to shareholder and have every incentive to ensure that shareholders benefit from long term participation. Time is all we have.
I have seen some frustration on share price and as a large shareholder in both DeepVerge and Modern Water (where I get paid in shares) I have to remind those who are looking at this in the longer term of what your investment is in.
FY 2019 revenue £823,000 (12months)
H1 2020 revenue £1,004,000 (6 months)
FY 2020 guidance - organic growth - £4m (£3m in 6 months)
Gross Margins 78%
May 2019: Acquisition of Rinocloud for £3m
Dec 2019: £1.38m Placing at 1.5p

Oct 2020: Four new Labskin contracts with global companies (£190k this Qtr)
Nov 2020: All Share acquisition of Modern Water plc value £13m representing 34% of enlarged entity (at today's share price)
All the news to come from all the work being done right now.
@mugginsthedog I have to call you out on being disingenuous as your statement may be a lack of accounting expertise, but sales from Modern Water would not be counted in revenues for DeepVerge plc until it becomes a subsidiary of DeepVerge plc, which will most likely be in late November. As such 11 months of sales of MWG will not be counted in the guided £4m for the year.
I get that you have been disappointed in Modern Water historically, but please refrain from making false statements on the Board. If however, you are not an accountant and your statement was made in error, though lack of knowledge of accounting procedures, the I would hope and request politely that you would pull that inaccurate statement back.
@newuncle, I don't comment on day to day business. The revenue grows exponentially based on signing of past deals and agreements. If triple digit growth Y-O-Y is not sufficient, then not much I can say, but company reports twice yearly, just we report to shareholders more often.
Depends on your perspective, but in response to a request for information I posted this.
Offer document was released two days ago on 13th and last two RNS had $500,000 and £190,000 size deals, just for this quarter. £1m noted in interims H1 2020, equal to FY2019 and guide remains for £4m for 2020, so H2 expected to be 3 times H1. What more can #DVRG do?
@havealot, from an individual perspective testing positive can be awful if your circumstances on a cruise ship or airport is where you test positive. However, the testing program being advocated is not purely from an individual perspective, but from a community one. The objective is to limit the number of high viral load (infectious) circulating int he community. We achieve that, the R0 number goes down, infections decrease and the economy opens up. It is a matter of perspective.
@SNewby we would not discuss any aspect of how we are working with specific ships
There is no definition of competition, only collaboration and cooperation with all market participants when the size of the market is in the billions of people to be tested. We are well placed to provide a solution for may large and niche markets in both airline and cruise industry and that is where we are focused right now
Last comment issue answered first. Any question sent to any member of the Board is always responded to, so not sure who you sent to.

We have made no specific disclosure, but have never denied we are in regular communications with airline/airport and cruise line industry members.

The Cruise industry are looking for a complete solution, so testing of black water (toilet wastewater) for a range of pathogens (SARS-CoV-2 and Norovirus for example). The bigger picture is that daily testing on-board means that passengers can dis-embark and embark on City visits where those who leave the ship and come back on are tested and each City is assured that those visiting from the ship are COVID19 free.
As for airlines, the objective is to provide a pre-flight test at the airports as kiosks similar to the kiosks used for printing tickets and also in car-rental drop-off points before going through security. The Digital Health Pass is scanned as you go through security and you cannot enter security if your pass is Positive. The scan is the same as your scan-code of your flight.
On-board cruise ships wastewater triggers alerts, and can identify zone source on the ship, where passengers in that area can and would test using BT and isolate before spreading around the ship.
While these are individual tests, they serve to screen the community where there can be up to 9,000 people on a ship.
What a marathon. https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/DVRG/publication-of-offer-document-rule-15-letters/14718618 The Offer Document is finally published, with first closing on 3rd November.
