What are you on about??
OFC Bird knows. Why would anyone mislead their shareholders by stating anything they didn't know was true. I mean, that would be so disingenuous ....
>>exploratory mining company on AIM
Have no issue with that whatsoever, but if the Chief exec is telling the market, in public forums such as investor presentations, it's definitely going to be a Teir-1 asset and a mine, well, that's a different story....
Depends on the evidence F100
IMO Bird has deliberately mislead shareholders. I have compiled a document noting his public comments to the market and, should BR not become a mine, I shall be taking legal action.
He has a duty of care to ALL shareholders, not just his mates, and he, IMO, has not met this criteria.
There's also evidence that he has told certain individuals that news is incoming before that news has been released in an official manner. (I have also documented this)
>> if they ‘were’ expecting the pre-concentration study to be released. - So are you saying Bird purposely lied to the market and had no intention of releasing the news?
I think the market would respond far more favourably if he actually ONCE met a deliverable or actually didn't lie to them....
You really think Bird is that 'clever' - Laughable......
The fact is none have been successful under Bird's tenure despite him spending 10's of millions, I'm thinking ~30m+ in cash calls, of shareholders money, on his 'projects''
Manica was bought by Nelson!
~23p with current shares in issue...Dream on - Gimme 5p and I'd count meself lucky.....
Well put NtMU - I do disagree that he should stay.
His credibility is in tatters after the way he sold BR to shareholders. And, I mean, how unprofessional can you get in trying to gaslight shareholders stating they didn't understand the type of system. Suggesting a 100y mine life and we'll count ourselves lucky if we get 9. There's no mistaking this 'asset' [BR] is not even close to what he'd been selling to SH's. In public forums no less. it's all on tape there is no backtracking from the lies!
I'm pretty sure CB has not given a fcuk for a long time. He's taken big risks, with other people's money, in an attempt leave some name/legacy form himself. Or at least show he's not a one hit wonder. It seems his legacy will be that of a CEO that could do no more than dilute and make fanciful forward statements he could not deliver on...
I'd love to know what his peers think of him, he really must be a laughing stock especially after what he's been stating about BR....
I've been saying it for years, it's long overdue that he is put out to pasture.
The AGM is gonna be a ball if there is no news to lift the SP soon
We have the same line of thought Jezz :)
I have wondered that Billy. The results from the separation study should be known by the BoD by now, Bird told us 6 weeks ago they were almost complete. Has AA been privy to the news? who knows.
The issues with that line of thought is the Bird factor...It's more likely Bird is keeping his gob shut ATM as it's spent the last two years spouting 'facts' to the market that may have turned out to be fairytales (or lets just be straight and calls them lies)
Brushing and carpet spring to mind L250
Might be worth chatting with Andy Mills A4444. He was in contact with him ~6m ago
>>Who, the hell is now going to believe a word he ever says in an interview ever again
No one - A better man would step aside IMO
CB may have been found out as being overly optimistic...... or worse.
it's my opinion that Bird has knowingly mislead the market to boost the SP and get a few cash calls out - Telling investors it would have a '100y mine life' 'world class/T1 asset' and a few at the AGM a few years back that it would be sold for ~30p a share (Didn't CE tell us he mentioned 45p?? when he spoke to him at the AGM - What a joke). How could he have known that after a few drill holes?! (at the time).
I'm about with you on your min value NTMU - BR will be worth something, if no more than to see what else is there....my min value was £20e6 tho so a potential, all in worth, of ~5p should it be shown BR is not currently viable
It's pretty much 6 weeks since we were told the results form the sorting study would be complete - If it's not good I doubt we will see the results from that before the AGM, if at all.
One things for sure, he won't be able to quietly brush BR under the carpet as he has done with so many other of his feck-ups....
How mining companies are using MR bulk ore sorting plants:

I believe it's more than just number crunching Jezz. I think there is actual physical testing of the material from the drilling to show what % of the copper can be recovered.
Possible they are also employing more than one separation methodology.
>> scaremonger and say if it’s not released it must be bad
Apart from the known fact it's the standard MO for Bird HZ
