Strange this company is using edible feedstock( see news) China is to ban Biodiesel produced from edible crops because it increases the price of food. Jatropha is used by D1 (Doo) oil to produce their biodiesel. (Jatropha is inedible so food demand won't push up the price of the raw material)Invest in companies that use or supply Jatropha. That's where the growth should be in the short to medium term.

In May this company mechanically planted 1000 Jatropha plants in Brasil that germinated. They are thinking about going into the Bio-diesel market. Jatropha is the in plant at the moment. Perhaps the market may become interested in this company eventually.

Within a few years there should be legislation in place which requires all diesel fuel sold at the pumps to have at least 20% biodiesel added to it, so it appears that this is a good company to invest in for the future. However, read up about Jatropha first. There are lots of unusual properties with this plant. The biodiesel produced from it has to be stored under Nitrogen and once the crop is cultivated fatty acids can build up. The manufacturing plants that DOO are investing in should be able to overcome this problem. Most people where I work already run their diesel cars on 20% - 30%veg oil which they purchase off the shelf at Tesco/Asda.

I had to pay 5pper share and £7.00 trading charge: I don't need exclamation marks to sell. I just watch the movements and sell when I start to get worried. I only invested a small amount of money, so if they drop a bitI shant loose much.

On the financial times site, 1 broker is tipping as a buy but I don't know who it is. I purchased some of these based on substp comment below. USA here we come. The number of explanation marks convinced me.

I had a call from my Broker this morning advising me to but at 10.5. Apparently he has been watching this company for a number of months. He said they have now turned the corner but advised I should be looking to hold for 12 - 15 months
