Duh! an electrolyser uses ELECTRICITY (and ELECTRICITY ONLY) to produce hydrogen. a cracker uses ELECTRICITY to STRIP TH HYDROGEN OUT OF ANOTHER PRODUCT. so obviously the fuel consumption would be of a signficantly lower magnitude. It totally ignored the energy input required to produce the ammonia in the first place, so is a fundamental mis-statement of the facts by a completely inappropriate comparison.

Again "designed to produce" doesn't mean that it actually does....there have been many iterations of AFC product that have been "designed to" but never actually have.....Why do you think that they stated that it was a "400KG a day site" and not "piece of kit"?

Remember the fiasco ref the 100KW unit that ABB got the discount on? Did it ever meet the performance metrics? we don't know, but look at the evidence "cumulative output" (whatever that is) followed by a 50% discount on the contract price plus a discount on any units that they might want to buy, followed up by a morphing of the order into a 200KW units that's likely to be late and I suspect not meet the performance metrics. If the thing was on track, and there was a likelihood of them being able to deliver, then why hasn't the deferred income been released? The company chose to align the release of the deferred income with sales, when it could choose to release the income in line with product development milestones, why do you think that is? My guess is that they know they would have problems with the auditors if they did if they couldn't demonstrate hitting milestones (remember the accounts were late a couple of years ago because of this very issue) so from my side of the fence, it's all looking a bit whiffy, and that's why I don't personally trust a word that the company says, simply because it's a paragon of ambiguity and double speak.

On the basis that in the very video they say that the energy consumption using the cracker is only 5 percent when compared to an electrolyser WHEN ITS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THING AND THE PERFORMANCE METRICS ARE FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT sort of indicates that nothing can really be taken at face value.

The simple fact is that CN and his various aliases post information which cannot be substantiated and paint an inaccurate picture of the true state of the company. Case in point, the latest gibberish about the cracker producing 400KG of H2 a day.....there is absolutely nothing to support this ludicrous assertion, and this kind of manipulation of information needs to be called out. If its allowed to happen here, how long before this escalates to a larger scale state controlled manipulation of legacy and mainstream media?

Probably find out that Rosengren was the one responsible for the deal with AFC.....hence his departure.....never mind, they did get a 50% discount on their initial contract for the 100Kw unit, and then a double bubble discount on any orders they might like to make (whether they might like to or not is a different matter)

And if you're going to trickle charge, why not cut out the middle man and simply use a solar array straight into a battery... after all, an array approx 23 metres square will generate 200Kw........assume producing electricity for 25 percent of the day, that gives an area of 44 metres square, not a vast area, is it? OK pedants, it won't work for contained sites, but it will certainly work in the soon to be concreted over hinterland.....

You keep talking about the £27M order book as though it actually exists. The phrase used by AB has always been "committed order" do you actually know what a "committed order" is?

Just so you know, a committed order is generally conditional on certain CSF's being met, and is in no way contractual until such time as those CSF's have been met, and accordingly no reliance can actually be put on any such "orders" until the contractual CSF's have been met. On the basis that we don't know any of the required performance metrics attached to these orders, who they're with, or really anything at all, are you actually that confident that anything will actually be forthcoming from these mythical orders?

There hasn't really been anything of substance to support anything to be remotely optimistic about. It's all jam tomorrow, and now we find that the one spinning this whole thing is legging it before it all comes crashing down....along with a great bucketful of your money!
