I get where you are coming from re F1 and FIFA but you have to look at the games like rockets league and fortnite where native ads could be inserted with little interference with the game.
Not only are they played by millions, the games are also watched by millions, and then you also have thousands going to stadiums to watch people compete.
E sports is just getting bigger and bigger and that’s where the ads benefits, the secondary pairs of eyes ie the viewers rather than gamers
