think the bonds not due til 2025
Hi T, I had ARB too, but messed that one up completely...got a bit thrown when the 80p placement was announced.
If I had spare cash, ARB... and Agronomics interest me. (do you look at Zak Mir bulletin board heroes?)
Yes, de-rampers out in force - I'm wondering if price could continue down to 1800's to shake people out?
It might take another lockdown after summer to get investors back into OCDO?
No point moaning. My plan is "when" OCDO gets back to my buy price, is to start a completely new regime of strategy, strict stop losses etc. (once and for all).
Best thing I've seen lately is importance of "supply and demand zones"....they seem to be quite accurate.
Cheers G
Hi Treacle,
Saw your posts...do you own any OCADO? ...hope you had some other winners in 2020?
Chart is pretty ugly, but I never thought of triple bottom?
Are you sure of that?
As you might expect, I didn't sell and am stranded in the 2600's
Seems very harsh reaction to the company in past 5 weeks or so, but no room for sentiment...just massively out of fashion at the moment.
G
T: You're writing page of advice on why not to buy Ocado, when you sold out at 15 and now they are 20. How does that work?
At least be honest and say I didn't see that coming, otherwise it sounds ridiculous.
bang on with that S, 2033
I suppose I will wait til tomorrow S, but you are right about 20
Sold 1000 at 1971 made £213
I will be keeping close eye still on these V, I might still buy some, but not the amount I had. It can be a myth NOT to buy highs and instead look for barrel bottom...all depends on the particular share...and there is obviously big money behind this now...there is a whole different air about it now.
I hear you V, I thought a few days ago, if it didn't start going down it was prob. heading for 20, EXTREMELY PAINFUL after all these months. Financially equal to the worst thing I've ever done.
Not a lot of pint P...ing about making £200 here and there and missing out on huge things.
Quite a lot of stuff up today T, but can't win it all.
I'm trying hard T. bought back 1000 Ocado and will look to sell if over 1160. not confident of 80
Yes, S, that's a big bonus
Good one S,
I bought a few more MKS...don't know if it counts as triple bottom, but bounced off 86/88 a few times.
Glad IAG come back to 185, that's a positive
I've been on at least 80 Ryan flights, so I've got some experience. Playing that pre-recorded clapping when we arrive on time!!
Ha, Ha...only becuase he overstates the flying time. Then when he delays you 2.5 hrs he won't even give you a drink of water. Pathetic.
Logic would say, people will sell at 20 for Ocado, but can't predict that. (I would like to buy lower, got none now) Even if some customers drop off after virus thye are still miles away from where they were a few months ago.
O'Leary is a piece of...
Treats customers and staff like dirt, then whines?? Man up and pay up, I'm still waiting for a flight refund. Next time I'm going with Easyjet even if it takes longer.
Well T, sold out too early on VOD, wasn't even aware of news so took £200 profit. just thought they were cheap the other day, might buy back in tomorrow?. I'm starting to think I should hold things longer. Short term is too stressful for me.
I bought some Ocado at 1910 yesterday, sold 1944, made 400...but both these small wins cover cover recent mistakes.
Still torn with Ocado, was convinced they would DROP today after opening at 1880 and struggling at 1927, but still not happening.
Was thinking about broker upgrade too. the pattern just seems to be slow gradual rise.
IAG, who knows...177 not good to see, until flight ACTUALLY start and people wear masks it's anyones guess. even 200 seems a way off, but I will wait...maybe like you, 220 sell
MKS I overpaid at 195, so
I did buy some MKtoo S, but paid a bit too much could be later in year before they pick up.
Also bought VOD as a boring back up that won't fall too much
Good luck today
T: I actually bought 5000 IAG last thing on Thurs@191, (didnt want to mention in case it bombed) was too busy this morning when they went to 198, my target was only 201 so might have sold....that is definitely a problem trying to trade 4-5 different things. Especially as you say, often there is problems with HL. Not surprising IAG down this morning after weekend media.
Things could improve for them tomorrow, as they recovered pm OK. Quarantine has been "misread". Good luck with them.
S: never heard of AFX...Alpha FX is that right? could recover when holidays start up again?
V: well done
Well done S, if you can take that heat! ....long my it continue.
I am watching the trends and spikes, they are definitely there. I don't know if the graphs are fast enough to predict things real time. I think I have to go on gut. Problem with Ocado last 2 days is patterns have changed, no shakes. Maybe that will come.
Thanks T, yes Futures up today so short term possibilities around. I might look at VOD, as unlikely to fall much.
Mixed political messages. Owners want business back, others don't want to die just yet. Slightly positive direction at moment, but a second wave wouldn't be good.
