T : your startegy is right, best take any profit. I've also seen the deadzone anywhere from 1 to 2.15pm.
I'm not saying OCD will rocket today, far from it, I think it's a long road back up. Every slight rally has been pegged back by at least 40-50p.
Was only saying that it may not fall back quite as much as last few days (into high 1900s or 2000)
Good luck
S : quite a few sell offs across board, even MKS recent rally died off too. Media news is shifting a bit.
T: suprised/not surprised you sold. If you can get cheaper, good, but might be tight, 2040?. They finally seem to be gathering a bit of momentum. If you think about Rausing bought 600,000 shares in 2011 at £1-ish and now he's buying 800,000 at £20, that's got to count for something towards future. Obviously he can afford to tie the money up for 10 years for himself or his kids.
T: Yes, nice for him!!....very interesting.
S : Famous last words, but you should be ok with IAG, hopefully sooner, but if you keep for a year you'll be quids in.
Anyone ever notice when brokers make recommends?
Royal Mail dropped to 125p...no mention of a bargain, but when they hit 480p they suddenly recommend price of 700p
Hi All, good luck this week
S: sorry about IAG, as long as you don't buy too many, you'll have to hold until clear picture of holidays emerge. They are at least coming up with ideas themselves for testing and travelling which is more than I can say for Ryanair etc.
G: fingers crossed OCDO, seems nervous. If it can at least stay at this level that's a start.
thanks S, have a good one.
V : Sorry to hear that stop loss trigger, that's terrible. .hmmmmm, maybe I'll have to do mental ones. I'm down a lot on Ocado and should have bailed at breakeven. I've made and lost on various things during year.
T: a bit better on OCADO, but doesn't feel very confident, fingers crossed
Hi V, hope you're doing well?..into new things now?
22% on SYME, well done.
cheers G
yes T, even my friend in Indonesia said "Mom and Pops" playing markets everywhere, Etoro going public aren't they?
no expert on Fevertree, but surely will do better in summer?
back to 2000, T
S: no harm in buying IAG, I would think reasonably safe with those now.
T: yes, Zak Mir was first time saw ARB, he gets quite a few right but some clangers go the wrong way like AFC energy predicted 110+ and now is 49p.
Yes, nice part of country, we lived in Tunbridge Wells once and again tried to buy places in Whitstable in 2010 but kept being beaten by Developer/ Estate agent tie-ups because it's so popular. Sounds like a sob story, I know, but we just found it so difficult. All the properties needed work but had potential, so I guess we had a lot of competition.
Used to live going to Hastings, and Rye is lovely.
Thanks T, got it. I pay for the pro version of Tview...very handy for creating and saving charts.
What are you hoping to target with ARB?
At least Tim Steiners comments aboout travel difficulties with potential clients MIGHT calm the SP today.
Lucky you oogle. We lived in Herne Bay for 5 years, wife worked in Britains 3rd worst school in Ramsgate...so before she had a mental beakdown we relocated up North near her parents. We put in a sealed bid for a house owned by the council that we later found out sold to a LOWER bid!!! Another house was a stitch up with local agent who was actually buying himself!!
Still, I love the way it is on the coast with some lovely buildings, relatively quiet for a seaside town and no cheesy arcade games. etc. Very hard to find anywhere else in UK. We lived in Brighton for a while, but very crowded.
"IF, IF, IF" I ever get the hang of trading shares, I would definitely buy there.
We did used to go to Margate quite a bit on weekends, but they need to knock down that ugly tower block down first!
Miss going to the Phoenix pub in Faversham.
T: where is that OCDO advice on Trading view? I use TV, but never saw. All I can see is the dials saying "strong sell" a couple of days ago...don't know what that is based on? probably the £10 fall from high.
Hi oogle, Deal is my favourite place...is that a holiday or do you live there?
I love the flat, mysterious water stretching into distance.
I tried, and failed, to buy three different houses 10 years ago, then gave up...need a lot more money these days, (maybe one day!!)
Hi Sad, hope you are doing alright. Sounds like it.
Yes, ARB still looking good to me, moved up today after a few sideways days consolidating? (would think could get back over 3 at any moment)...as long as you have a stop somewhere.
Ocado: not exactly sure what's wrong there, obviously lockdown ending is a kind of problem, but other stuff seems pretty positive...lets see if I can get out alive from that.
Take it easy, G
T: I would agree with that, lets see, I don't have feeling that things have all played out yet. I've drawn a demand zone from 1887-1962, if candle/wick bounces straight out, or not too far in, all well and good. If it goes straight thru...could head to 1600s.
Don't know much about FvTree but that drop seems overdone to me too.
Well done M, I don't think I can keep up with a target, but I suppose I aim to make more than the year before?
Glad you're enjoying some spoils, you need those!
thanks T, will check Swazers.
Hi Mac....been out in the wilderness!
I thought I needed to go back to Ocado...but might be over that phase now!!!!!
Hope you are making money, CCL...and a lot of others were v.good buys last year, (even crap like ITV has come back)
Lots of new companies worth a look at. The key is to keep a grip on risk/reward/stop loss (says he)
Bye G
