I think, given the fall in production, UOG is fairly valued based on net profit right now, but no value has been given to Jamaica, the sale of assets at large profits, or the possibility of increased production next year. Good news on any of these fronts should push us up. Copl on the other hand are valued higher than us as the market is giving current value to future increased production (despite negative retained earnings which the copl bb maintained vehemently is unimportant but I don't see how that can possibly be the case, but anyway), which is of course unfair, but boohoo right...
On balance, I'd rather own UOG than copl. If production is stabilised (let alone increased) I think this is more or less the bottom for us, but I suspect copl is still overvalued. But WTFDIK.
