Adam, there was news. The interim PM announced that the rail project construction would begin in January.

It will take time to build but it is happening.

They’re going to build a rail line specifically to transport lignite from thar to the port, going past KE’s coal power plant in the way.

The issue was probably more due to green energy transition issues and ESG than the cost.

Smaller O&G companies will be less bothered by this so in a way we probably want a less high-profile partner.

If we do get a signed offtake agreement before the MOU ends, I think you should apologise to Naheed like a gentleman and then delete your user name.

This is the first time an RNS has referred to an expectation of an MOU becoming binding by a certain date. But then you knew that.

It must be nice posting the way you do. You don't have to research, you don't have to read anything, you don't have to think, or be clever, or reach any conclusion of your own. It's incredibly easy to sit there and criticise someone else and you can never be wrong because you don't have the balls to actually say anything of substance.

Don't think I didn't notice you yet again dodge the conversation about the offtake agreement. That's what's important here. If signed it will be a massive step forward. So let's see what happens over COP28.

As I suspected, you don't understand what an offtake agreement is and you would rather insult me than look into it.

Jstar, we don't have the offtake agreement yet. I'm talking about the situation AFTER we get the offtake agreement signed. I think my post was written clearly enough.

Like I said, many people here don't appreciate what an offtake agreement is, and would rather call me a clown than research.

I think most people don’t fully appreciate the significance of a signed offtake agreement. It means revenue is practically guaranteed and banks will be falling over themselves to lend us the money for what is almost a guaranteed return. All imo

It also suggests that the person is locking in their capital loss outside the ISA and now believe there will be a capital gain coming (of at least £6K from their £16K investment).

But again, what others choose to do has no bearing on how I look at the business.
