Dr No,
Once again apparently I have to pop in just to say that there's nothing to say.....?
Always nice to be missed I guess....
There’s no point engaging with him, mropz, he is clearly ignoring everyone’s else’s points on the topic and will just keep repeating himself.
Again, for what purpose is unclear.
From CAB's website:
"There are high barriers to entry, with the unique network underpinning the strength of the technology offering."
It's definitely a contradiction to say that any other fintech company could replicate the business model and then say the business model is flawed.
I think you're just throwing mud at this to see what sticks. For what purpose I'm not sure.
Got to say I've never heard the expression "low quality earnings" before.
I guess I'd better go check my bank account in case there's low quality pounds in there.
Aren't the bonds costing 13.5% PA in interest. On $135M that's $1.5M per month.
Also, sorry, where are you getting your PE ratio from?
Market cap is £233M and last year they made £31M profit, giving a PE of 7.5. Based of a 25% increase for 2023 it becomes 6. That's pretty low and not double regular banks.
Counterpoint.
Revenue has gone up a lot:
2016 - £8M
2017 - £18M
2018 - £26M
2019 - £33M
2020 - £37M
2021 - £53M
2022 - £110M
2023 - £137M
You can say there's no moat, but the team are clearly doing something right. The high growth here is worth a higher PE ratio than regular banks.
It’s perfect simple. We got great WL news and the banks been named, but we’ve gone down over 40% since then. Does that make sense? If you think it doesn’t then the answer to the obvious question is price manipulation.
I was going to buy in this morning and then work took over and I completely forgot until now. Well that cost me 10% lol.
Anyway, hopefully it won't matter in the grand scheme of things. GLA.
Even today we’re being ignored. I was expecting some chat about todays rns, but it’s so quiet.
Almost like an extra 75Koz of gold can’t be sold for an extra $150M or so…..
Christian, not Christina, lol
Enough working capital to last until Q3.
Right then, that's your target to complete the sale, Christina, Dmitry, Artem
Just bought in on that TU. GLA.
So I was told Dr No's been posting about me. Apparently I have some sort of responsibility to keep reading and responding to personal insults. Not sure why.
Will this do? Can I get back to what I was doing now? Thanks.
I'm a lucky noob to this share.
Don't get jealous, I've had the proverbials kicked out of me these past 2 years in other shares....
Hopefully the AIM market, not just ORR, are turning a corner.
Because this is SYME. Share price increases are unrelated to news but pinned on the calendar. IE, we only get share price increases in the run up to new year's and before the AGM.
This is getting exciting...
"Castagna said official interest rates could start declining next year, leaving lenders looking for alternative sources of revenue growth."
Truth is, this week's news was not a dud. An agreement has been reached and the bank is happy enough with it for their name to be published.
For the share price to be lower now than before the WL news is messed up and points once again to the manipulation that's been referred to many many times here and elsewhere.
