4.05 paid. BTW I only count trades of 100k (the market size) shares or more.
3.8375 paid :)
MM's don't speculate, it's not their job. Their job is to make 0.3p or more on every share that is traded. They will move the bid and/or offer to help increase the churn and therefore their profits. They do not care whether ALGW has good or bad prospects or news as long as there are buyers and sellers.
The spread shown above is not the actual spread if you ask for a quote, I got 3.11 - 3.33 a couple of minutes ago. 0.2p is about average as the MM's don't want to take a position.
Before you all get carried away remember that the churn over the last 3 months has never exceeded 15 million shares traded and has usually been around 5 million, even today there hasn't yet been 6 million. I would look for at least 25 million shares traded in a day before believing any share price movement was secure. Exciting days are when the churn exceeds 50 million :)
There may not be any more TR-1s.
There were 187,500,000 new shares issued.
50 million or so were taken by Mark Ward, I know of a group of 4 that took a total of 30 million and an individual who took 11.7 million.
That accounts for about half the new shares and, as the 3% point is now 12.85 million shares it's quite possible that no other individual/couple bought enough to require a TR-1.
I am nor sure why the RNS confirming the FCA's approval of the prospectus/deal and the admission of the new shares has not been published yet but the 3 TR-1s have been. GS is responsible for all of these and there is/was no need to publish the TR-1s if the shares have not been admitted to the market.
The payment and delivery of the Placing Shares is EXPECTED to take place on 15 March 2021.
Originally I 'expected' the placing to happen on the 8th, there was a delay, there may have been another delay.
CHILL :)
@numptytrader: Placing shares can't be sold yet as they will only be paid for / admitted on Monday. However I understand that most, if not all, subscribers are long term rather than traders.
I expect a rash of TR-1s on Monday.
The method for informing the FCA will change on 22nd March, you will need to register and fill ion some forms.
Initially you have to declare it if your holding goes above 3% or about 12.85 million shares on Monday. Then every 1% above that. You are supposed to include all persons living at the same address and over however many accounts (trading, ISA SIPP) might be involved. You also have to declare if your holding drops below a previously declared %age point. For example I have submitted a TR-1 to GS for publication on Monday as my holding will fall below 3% - less admin. for me :)
@iceman888: If you search Facebook for gilesfitzh you should only get me as a result and my email is on there :)
Indeed, 2.2 million shares happily 'absorbed' by the MM :) Usually this would have moved the Bid/Offer so it does look as if there is a buy being worked. My guess would be a disappointed potential subscriber to the recent placing.
"The payment and delivery of the Placing Shares is expected to take place on 15 March 2021 "
Do you actually have any idea what is going on at Alpha Growth?
Acquisition is not dilution.
See my post 13th Feb @ 17:01
I'm only saying news probably end March as that is 3 months since the Annual Report. Nominally the quarterly updates are due 31/3, 30/6, 30/9 and 31/12.
AGM is today, might get an RNS and report today. Monday is when the placing shares go live so there will be an RNS detailing the major participants and RNS's from existing TR-1 holders adjusting their percentages. Mine will go just below 3% so less admin. for me :)
Don't expect any 'goodies' until the end of March when GS has said the next update will be released.
GS tells me that there have been a few trades in the US OTC but it was mainly set up to cater for those who become interested in ALGW via the Insurance Company we've acquired so will be a little while yet.
