Most of the buying over the last few days has probably been the US brokers getting some stock.
I am at a loss to explain all these little trades. They make absolutely no sense to me.
A more pertinent question is for how long have B. Riley Securities, Inc. (www.brileyfin.com) been loading up in anticipation of the OTCQB listing?
Only by those weird little trades so far though, need some proper buys to make it real :)
Are out in force this morning, 2 minutes of trading and over 80 trades but amounting to less than 700k of shares.
Starbuck911: You show the depth of your knowledge and research done into ALGW by saying it's an AIM company. Would you care to share the size of your holding in ALGW?
LOL. MMs flushed all those little traders out and the SP is now 2.75-2.85 :)
I'd guess that all these little trades are the buyers from 2 days back who have had their stop losses triggered. Given that the SP dropped yesterday when there were more buys than sells, though churn was thin, I wonder if the MMs dropped the price to deliberately flush out all these ridiculous small momentum traders who must be making them a lot of extra work for little pay.
As I mentioned before these are people using Freetrade + momentum algos. Freetrade may be commission free but trading such small number of shares gets you a poor price. A buy trade of the market size (100k shares) is quoted at 2.75 atm.
Stretchum: Do you mean imminently (in that you've heard something) or at some point in the future?
All these small buys are from Freetrade 'customers' using momentum programs to give buy/sell signals. What a complete waste of time, even if it worked, how much can you make on £1 worth of shares?
Yup, 2.95 to buy now.
Remember that ALGW need to have about £100 million in AUM to break-even and we're a long way off that. Once AUM is in the region of £250 million ALGW will be making good profit and will have proved the business model, then we'll be interesting to the BIG BOYS and can expect buy-out interest. This isn't going to happen overnight.
@ 10:20 - Since 10:04, 4 sells total 86k shares, 28 buys 1.2 million. Last 2.60 paid
While I'm loving the increase in sp recently there has been no news released and GS has always been very careful not to let info. leak. Volume of shares traded has been very thin this month though 30th November was 17million. Historically a 'good day' of volume was at least 25 million and a 'VERY good day' over 50 million. Contrary to many on here I do not think that there a only a few shares not in 'sticky' hands so let's not get too carried away. Having said that I believe that ALGW will make shareholders a LOT of money, I wouldn't have bought nearly 5% if I didn't :)
At 10:04 - Buy vol = 1.3 million, Sell vol = 0.3 million. Last 7 trades all buys last 4 at 2.50
Plenty of sellers still. I guess if your game is to take 10% whenever you can then OK but the potential rewards here are so good that it makes no sense. Only 2 million more shares bought than sold - that's less than £40k. MMs must love it when the churn picks up as it's been thin times for them recently. 12 million shares traded so far so we may actually see a good day, which is 25million+ shares traded. Roll on properly busy days of 50million+ :)
GS/DS have previously stated that their target is a Market Cap of $100million that equates to an sp of 31p.
People keep saying that there is little 'free float' in ALGW, I have to disagree. I know where 36.5% of the shares are held, this includes 8 people in here who have disclosed their holdings, the 3 TR-1 holders, the Company Directors and the Khans (friends if GS) who invested right at the start. Even if there are another 8 'sticky' holders with 2.99% each that's only 50% of the total shares in issue.
There will be plenty of sellers all the way to 31p.
Personally, when the sp gets to near 11p I'll be showing a £1million profit which is a nice round number :)
ALGW's year end is August 31st. Usually companies have 3 months to publish though GS is usually a month late even in ordinary years but I'd guess the accounts might be done and someone has seen them.
NT to buy? I have never seen this but then I use an internet only broker not a bank :) Bots - if you have the money to invest a couple of million $ in BOAGF you could buy ALGW :) I suppose someone who works for whoever is investing might buy shares though this could surely be viewed as insider trading.
Not happy to wait but then I'm not happy with the whole **** show that is 2020. I am however patient and am sure that ALGW will come good as the basics have not changed. ALGW's BOAGF (and other offerings) still make sense - 10%+ annualised returns in a non-correlated market - what's not to like?
