It is a tough one i was watching asos on results the other week, it never went into auction opened up 2% down then went on and did over 10% in the day and continued rising as it still is, nearly 30% up now

The buying and volume is different from before - the dip this morning seems orchestrated, there seems to be buyers about willing to take lots - note the 2 x 100k today. Even know they will take a load off of me at 26.275 - i don't think the buyer has finished

Remember it was to be included in the belt and road initiative. Could the announcement be coming here 25-27th april....this week

Large volume today too, and large buying - i do think rns is logged or something is coming. Last week they were keen to take all my holdings and others said the same too

so thats two - 100,000 buys today

Moving quick now, maybe that was a 100,000 buy earlier...

Did this on Friday little drop back from days high at the time of 224 I think it was back to 214 then back up to close.

Can’t make head or tail of some of those trades going through in sense one seems bed and isa the others don’t know if they are buys or sells but at least it’s gone up but will no longer take all my holdings at the higher price I was getting quoted earlier

You beat me to it thechancers - 7 posts on boohoo since last night and 5 of them just about "selling" getting a little boring reading as no insight or analysis given.....looking for a rally into close and a 3rd attempt at breaking over 220 resistance that will see a further move up. Starting to think i am going to hold into results.

Bumped into Umar in Dubai and a had a quick chat with him about a few things, seemed a genuine bloke who gave me time to chat about the US market, warehouse, 30% of PLT left and results, obviously his first words were you know i can't say much due to the markets, a few wry smiles - his security guy was ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE!

Tawes - When did you buy at 198 as i don't remember it hitting that price? i remember you posing saying this in January - @gggg21 - best of luck if you buy in again this lunchtime. I am staying out for the reason I mentioned above. I suspect that BOO will gap on Tuesday morning when the maket opens. Whether that is a gap up or down I don't know. But I do know that if I buy today's BOO price of circa £1.90 and it gaps down then I would be in a pickle. It might be a repeat of October and then just head down for several months.

Largely ignored it, i have seen this before for example with Boohoo where Meridan (previously Old Mutual) went over 17% i think it was and then dropped below it quite quickly again then month or so later back over it- it was purely down to the fact that the shares are held across multiple funds and by multiple managers - probably similar to Blackrock - if one fund manager wishes to sell or buy they largely do (remember they want to make money to and may have seen a short term opp elsewhere - i sold some gkp bought boohoo for a quick trade and then bought back slightly cheaper = more shares overall) - risky of course but worked out well) obviously there is some direction from the top cats.

Could even be that it was done by mistake and they want to go under the radar and actually buy more - using the two day disclosure rule and have a higher overall figure.

Level 2 is looking primed again for a move, strange day as usual here, twice as many buys but red....just out of interest thought id see if they would take 100,000 shares off of me and they would just above the bid but to buy the 100,000 shares only quote was 30.75

It’s an odd one I kinda can work out the moves as some days they don’t move it when all buys and then sells and you get the swings we see (closest spread I have seen in long time) - What I can’t work out is who the shares seem to go to as the sells and buys always seem to match up as if there are transfers going on. Whenever we have seen these movements and large buys/trades a day or so later we always get an rns. I wouldn’t be surprised by intractable later or Monday. I’m very confident here as Just reading the interims about PowerChina who they are the fact it’s being put on the belt project international miner etc. I do expect a buy out more now.
