Have posters seen the good posts from those who attended the lunch briefing with Burford yesterday over on advfn. Sounds all good and investors/potential investors attending from the city. I expected a little dip this morning g with the markets and bur followed luckily for me. Felt there maybe some order filling going on and noted a few chunky buys around 8.40 before the drop. Feel a few IIs may start popping up now

Me either. It has odey nasty comment at the end and basically says all dependant in getting a good q3 update out the way along with brexit. The issue is that there could be a bank run now as the board have done sweet fa and the bad news is now plastered all over the news. Could be another 10% dip in morning then an easy 5% bounce trade before leaving it alone

For once a balanced article. But as I said wait until proper news now. Just trade until then if opportunity grants it

completely agree with all of that, the tabloids all went in hard reporting only half the story and slanting it supremely negatively but that is what sells eh. but the market is now feeding on the uncertainty hence why a statement is needed by the board shocked there wasn't one.

I dont get it either like more detail setting out plans i am holding off properly going in until i hear i from the board, ok maybe miss the initial jump but could save me from a sting

I just realised, it is even more hilarious as half the world wasn't even awake from 9am uk to 2pm uk time!!
Read again "By 2pm UK time, the bank only had a book of around £175m for a deal targeted at £200m-£250m" Notice the added word "only" i am sure whoever put this out was either short or in the pocket of someone short. I could rewrite this and people would be jumping up and down.
