Hi Mullins
Thanks for the gas price information.
So 1 mWh is about €100 which divided by 1000 means that a kWh is €0.1 that’s considerably better than 3-4 weeks ago when it was close on €250 mWh and €0.25 almost 60% lower which is obviously good news.

You may be correct mate, but, I read an article yesterday that said that an armada of ships carrying LNG was arriving in Europe, and I previously read that Biden has decided to release up to 50% of the US gas reserve in order to keep prices down.
Oh well, time will tell ;-)
OMR
I hope you are fit and well mate, I’ve only just seen your post.
It’s obviously just guesswork as to when we will be mining and trading again, but my guess is that they may announce it at the same time as they announce the Q1 production (which we all know will be very low) as in this way they would be giving something good as well as something not so good.
Time will tell mate.

I too have had posts removed that basically only thanked administrators for removing the nasty posts that you told me had been made by one of the individuals that I have filtered, it makes no sense to me unless they were in a thread where yet another nasty post appeared?

Thanks for posting that link mate I think that investors (I don’t give a flying fog about the non investors) in WRES, should take heart from this extract :-
The unprecedented high prices of energy products have affected all the economic sectors in Spain and culminated with a strike of the transport sector that temporally interrupted our processing operations.
“The extremely high electricity price, due to the record natural gas price in Europe, has also created inflationary pressures that have only been partially offset by the higher copper prices and favourable exchange rates.
“Measures have been taken by the company and by the Spanish government and we are confident that the situation will improve in the coming months,” he said.
Mullins
All good here mate I trust you are ok too.
You are off course correct the directors had no option other than temporary suspension.
Hopefully we will be up and running again within a few weeks ;-)
It looks like the rumours of WRES’s demise are greatly exaggerated ;-)
We are not out of the woods yet but I’m now a lot more hopeful than I was when the suspension was announced ;-)
The Spanish truckers strike has been called off, I’ve only just researched and seen it but it was called off on Saturday at a mass meeting, following a 20c discount on fuel prices brought in by the Spanish government.
good morning mate, where there’s life there’s hope and WRES whilst in life support are still breathing ;-)
As 29 of them have been green boxes on my screen I’ve been fortunate enough to have missed all the usual suspects bashing the company and any positive posters, and have only read reasonable posters comments.
No one can say that the bashers don’t put in a massive amount of effort, but I never will understand why they bother posting about a company that they say they will never invest in !
I feel sorry for them.
Good luck to all genuine WRES investors ;-)
Let’s hope that the company can firstly survive and then eventually thrive ;-)

From the RNS :-
“During the shutdown period the Company is applying for Spanish government support under the Expediente de Regulación Temporal de Empleo ("ERTE") employment retention programme and it is confident this support will be received.“

You are indeed correct, I incorrectly presumed that they had sold some, but it was as a result of additional shares being issued to ICD who as a result own more than 8.6% of the company.
Like all the other big holders, and opposite to the incessant non invested bashers on here. They certainly won’t want WRES to fail.
I suspect that the late notification from Crux was simply an oversight.
Troajan
As I posted a couple of days ago, I honestly believe that we have a 50/50 chance of coming back from suspension mate.
The fact that crux sold some in January is an irrelevance to the chances of WRES surviving the suspension.
By my reckoning the board and management own about 25% blackrock about another 6% (plus 5% of the total equity when / if the loan is repaid) and crux still own 4.6%, in addition there are some large Spanish and British shareholders, and all of them therefore have every reason to want WRES to succeed mate, let’s hope that we do ;-)
Reducing their holding from 5.09% to 4.6%
The SP was certainly higher then so it may have been a wise decision, depending of course on wether or not WRES come back from this suspension.
Time will tell.
Troajan
I don’t see anything that they post now, but, your list certainly covers everything that I’ve seen them post before mate.
As I said, sad people :-(
Troajan
9 green boxes in a row, is that a record ? It’s certainly sad :-(
Hi OMR,
You certainly haven’t had any luck other than bad luck mate ! I hope that your health improves.
As for WRES We now need the 3 things I mentioned to go right, if we are to come back from suspension mate, I reckon we have a 50/50 chance, time will tell.
I believe that blackrock won’t want this to go under, they sit on the board and have much more information and knowledge about the situation than we do, and have been supportive up to now.
The license stuff is to say the least annoying, but I’m led to believe that local Spanish government are about as useless as local uk government, so it’s quiet likely that one department has forgotten to send some information to another department and someone in that department hit a button on the computer and “computer said no” if that’s the case it may be resolved quickly (here’s hoping).
As for the energy prices, Spain and Portugal have put a plan to the E.U. IF they are successful (and many businesses in both countries are praying that they will be, because they simply cannot continue to operate with prices 7 times higher than a year ago) then we have a chance of surviving.
That said, the company aren’t finished yet, if blackrock continues to be supportive, if the licensing nonsense gets sorted out, and if the Energy price comes back to a reasonable level, WRES may still rise from the ashes of suspension.
There’s nothing that investors can do other than hope and pray, whilst simultaneously ignoring any nasty comments from the green box brigade.
Good luck to all genuine WRES investors - we need some good luck, it would certainly be a massive change to the long list of bad luck that we have and continue to suffer from !
Mullins
Good luck with the impending operation mate, I hope that you recover from it quickly.
