If they can get the parts from the suppliers and they haven't had to close down because of restrictions or the fact that the workforce is off sick.

Still the SP is likely to over react to actualities, its just knowing when that will be. Things were turning a corner until this hit so should be another speed bump in the longer term road and should get back to normality. EU were forcing empty planes to fly which helped but I think they might be changing the rules to a more common sense option of allowing airlines to stop, even if temporarily

Things have changed a little since then and we are learning how to look after people much better. Now we have a much older population who need different things. Is it not better that we can forecast and foresee things a little better to give these warnings.

At least your getting in on a slight discount and when things normalise this will rise a tad. Im hoping it will drop a bit more personally but can wait. I suspect this is cheaper than the planned placing. How this will change things going forward I dont know but they wont be doing a premium to NAV just now.

As for safe and cash cow I'm not sure about that. More stable than some other equities is how I would describe it as. Still lots of shares much cheaper than a month back. Longer term should be ok and you will get quarterly divis whilst waiting

Dan if you only read a sentence in a book you won't get the full story. I would book a para ski holiday. You parachute in 007 styllie and enjoy the slopes all to yourself. Finish off by skiing down for a cruise home. I here you get two week free now but only have to pay for one week.

Well it was next trading day or morning to get under NAV so didnt take long. Im holding back here for a while to see if the discount gets greater. Still if the market drags this back down to the 90's everything else might be lower too.

Hi Dan, what did you think I was talking about then? The "Re:SP" thread mentions "CV19 and cv" It couldnt be Brexit as I joked about bringing that "relatively safe" topic back. Was Breixt ever as bad as CV19?

Yep its all doom and gloom right now even though there was loads of toilet rolls on the shop shelves at the weekend. Looks like everyone is panic selling their shares to panic buy hand sanitiser and pasta. Maybe 14 days isolation from the internet might be better although it looks like my brokers website caught a cold this morning as it wouldn't allow me to buy even after pressing the buy button. Anyway managed to get some extra shares, (some a quid a share more expensive than when first button pressed) so will have more divis to panic buy toilet rolls later. Stay safe and wash your hands!

I hadn't looked at the actual return of the quarterly divis but did buy some more of these this morning. Brokers playing up as I struggled to get some Shell, finally paying a quid more per share.

Just need to sit back and collect the divis now...... So I can buy some more!

Finally found the funds and was able to deal. Only £1 more than the initial failed buy.

Doubt its worth making a complaint as its unlikely to get anywhere and I'm sure there are terms and conditions etc.

Still it makes up for the Cardiff miss and would have jumped at the higher price just paid a fortnight ago. Hopefully this is a blip not a long term issue

So it's just not me then having problems buying. Hit the buy button three times now all failed for some reason and now the funds missing but can't get through to the broker. Looking like I have missed out

Dan, I think my comment when over your head. It was bad taste sarcasm re CV19.

Highs and lows have to be referenced to something and I only have hindsight to base upon and limited foresight based on educated guessing. As others have alluded to futures look like it's going to be a kicking on the off. So short term, looks like my recent dipping into my pockets ain't paying off. Hopefully over time the dividends going forward will compensate until SP stabilise.

Maybe a day for a bike ride rather than looking at share prices

110p was my guesstimate for the fund raising offer price which it hit today. Will this still go ahead under current markets. Could it be done at a discounted rate and will the numbers still stack up?

Maybe there will be something helpful in the budget. Share price following the market down albeit slightly slower. Will we see a discount to the NAV next week.

Yep there are lots of high yield shares around just now. Picking the right ones is the difficult part. It's a bit of a scatter gun effect, buying bits of everything.

As for how long, probably longer than your cash holdings. Looks like Sara is taking that position. I'm more like Longish, might not be the bottom but hopefully over time I can position into some good deals. Hopefully won't be distracted in Cardiff again when they get down to the £13s.

Interested parties wanting the deal to go ahead? more yes votes accumulated maybe! Markets still red on more CV19 news so just interested why purchases going ahead unless they expect a bidding war of some sort.

Futures don't look good either added to a Friday when people take off risk for the weekend so expecting my spreadsheet to be a sea of red.

Markets normally ahead of events so when to time any top ups is going to be the call. It might be another month or so but I expect the trough to hit slightly before the peak in CV19. When the States is hit hard maybe.

Will probably be all forgotten in two years time as we move onto the next crisis. Bring back Brexit anyone?
