Blimey, its warmer than it is here!,yes they must have lots of stored solution by now which can be used if leaching suspended.I presume that they must have a break in production of some duration to integrate the new engineering which we think! is under way about now. Hi Nigel,yes they will probably aim to produce some of the winter, i understand that they could go right through but perhaps with the upgrade going on will take a break in production,avoiding the worst of the winter. They could continue heap leaching but would have to insulate the heaps(testing on this was done last winter) as the SX EW plant was being built. I suppose they could cover the solution ponds if needed. What is important now is that FML issue a set of cost of production figures, they will do this after a decent run of settled production.There are miners pruducing at a cost of $5000/ton, we have a low cost surface mining,heap leaching operation using the latest equiptment available. It might be that we can produce copper at well under $3000/ton, if we can then we are in blue heaven!.There will certainly be interested parties waiting to see these production figures they are most important and are the reason for all the opimising and swiching circuits in and out.Am impressed with the methodical way in which KAZ COPPER has tackled this,i know as shareholders we would like everything to be done yesterday but it is important to get it right after all we have 30years of production ahead of us and millions at stake. for FML Nigel, KAZ COPPER at Benkala seem to be getting to grips with their new toy at last. Weekly or nearly weekly shipments to come, resulting in money hitting the balance sheet. Calder projects engineers will be on site again this winter to do the upgrade if any advise is needed. Erlan is right to concentrate now on achieving jork figures for the other sites to add shareholder value(including to his own sizeable holding of course!). Looking good!, regards george.

Yes Nigel very pleasing results from BAITEMIR dont forget the 2000m x400m pit(roughly half the size of BENKALA) is a small part of a 25km copper trend. Happy days! Also two drilling rigs at SOUTH BENKALA at the mo converting the old estimate into a JORC one. Action everywhere!!! Regards george.

Good to hear from you guys, SP at or after production starts? who knows?, 10p maybe. One thing i do know is that ERLAN (CEO) expects the market cap to be about $1 billion within 3 years, think about that. I see that our web site is much improved these days with regular updates and pictures, i cant wait to see the pictures taken in march. That snow will be melting soon, and then all systems go!. Hi Nigel,have been in just over a year so have not sufferred as much as some. Bought in first at 7.9p and kept buying down to 2.7p.Yes first copper cathode plate expected in june. A cold weather heap leach team has spent the winter at BENKALA reserching ways of keeping the leaching going throughout the winter, insulating the leach heaps also the optimum height of heaps.So we hope to produce through the winter. Kazakhstan is now developing as a mining country, it is sparsly populated, good infrastruture, near to China,we have a single minded, focased CEO in ERLAN, other highly skilled in mining KAZAKHS on the BOD and a great pipeline of projects. Also now attracting interest from RUSSIA, CHINA and KOREA. Regards george.

You have timed your entry well, good luck to you both. Downside, weather could remain extreamly cold for a few weeks yet thus delaying startup, but the thaw is expected soon. Copper price could fall considerably again not expected. Some shareholders are unhappy with only 25% of shares in public hands, thinking ERLAN might delist, but he has said several times that he is a long term holder(450 million shares!) New state of the art SE EW copper extraction plant might not function as well as expected but CALDWELL the designer and project engineer is well regarded.Cannot think of much more, but i will say the UPSIDE is huge, i could list a dozen things that i like about FML Regards george.

Hi crossbones, shiver me timbers!!! someone as keen as me!!!. There are many reasons for this, copper price, gold price, local infrastructure roads rail electricity availability,unihabited flat terrain etc. Also 3 Kaz nationals in high office and importantly a successfull, well respected CEO. Enginering at BENCALA completed, now commissioning, production soon. CEO looking for a market cap of $2 billion!!!, enjoy the ride, george.

Thanks for the update Norbie,not many posting on this BB,only 3 posts the whole of august!. I have high hopes for this company, the CEO is no mug, and has defined A CLEAR DEVELOPEMENT PATH FOR THE COMPANY. He is very single minded and focased,selling a gold asset to fund the copper prodution. So with BENCALA, SOUTH BENCALA, BAITIMER etc i think that we can look forward to a profitable future.
