Polo has an option to acquire a further 2.7 million shares at US$3.50 per share by end of May 2012. · Strategic adviser appointed to review options for 29.80 per cent interest in GCM Resources plc ("GCM") which owns the Phulbari coal project with large reserves of both thermal and coking coal, and is well placed to serve growing demand for both electricity generation in Bangladesh and regional coal demand. · New investment of US$2.0 million in Mozambique coking coal explorer Mozambi Coal Limited ("Mozambi") bringing Polo's total interest to 17.96 per cent. Mozambi is actively evaluating and acquiring exploration licences in Mozambique's rapidly growing coking coal district. · Net cash and short term investments totalled US$83 million at 31 December 2011 and US$75 million at close of business, 23 March 2012, to fund future investments which Polo continues to actively review. · A special dividend of US$71.5 million, paid in October 2011 at two pence per share, was funded from the US$163.2 million proceeds from the disposal of interest in Caledon Resources plc ("Caledon"). (Year to 30 June 2011; dividend of US$113.9 million, equivalent to three pence per share). · Net profit of US$8.74 million compared to net profit of US$63.45 million in the comparative period that resulted from the disposal of Polo's interest in Extract Resources Limited. · Joint venture in Colombian gold explorer Andina Gold Corporation was terminated following slow progress with licensing and exploration with a loss of US$2.2 million. · On 28 December 2011, Polo resolved in a General meeting to expand its investment policy to deliver a more diversified earning potential to shareholders from a broader spectrum of revenue generating businesses with exposure to the natural resources arena.

[SRT] Announces today that it has signed an AIS supply agreement with Transas Navigator of Russia with an initial frame order for Class A products worth US$1.25 million which is expected to be delivered over the next twelve months in minimum call-offs of US$250,000. The Russian maritime authorities have recently announced a national mandate which is expected to require most commercial vessels to fit a Class A or Class B AIS device over the next five years. SRT understands that the initial requirement under the mandate is for Class A devices and that it will affect an estimated 4,000 vessels over the next one to two years with a further 25,000 vessels expected to require a mixture of Class A and B devices within the five year timeframe. SRT's standard GPS based AIS Class A and Class B units have been customised for Transas to include the Russian operated positioning system, GLONAS, and other features and functions required by local regulations. This work was completed between November 2011 and March 2012 and the first units delivered to Transas earlier this month for in-house functional testing and formal testing and approval by relevant Russian marine and radio authorities. The approval process is ongoing and is expected to take up to five months. During this period SRT will commence the production planning and manufacture of the first GLONAS Class A units ready for delivery towards the end of Q2 in financial year 2012/13. Transas is based in St. Petersburg and is Russia's largest marine electronics company with a well-established, dominant market share through its nationwide dealer network. Simon Tucker, SRT CEO said; "Transas is the dominant player in the Russian marine market with a market share which we estimate at over 80%. This mandate has created a substantial market opportunity and our partnership provides Transas with the product it needs to supply the resulting demand. As with other markets we expect that this mandate is the beginning of the Russian AIS programme which will present other opportunities for our broadening product range."

[LGO] Today announces that it has received a number of strong expressions of interest from international oil companies to either participate in the development of the Company's Spanish oil assets, or to purchase the assets outright. The Company announced in October 2011 of its intention to seek a partner to assist in the further development of the Ayoluengo oilfield, including a possible Enhanced Oil Recovery project. The time for submissions closed on 21 March 2012. The Company has now formally closed its data room. The Board has decided that divestment could potentially represent the best opportunity for the Company in light of the new development opportunities previously announced in Trinidad. A number of conditional cash bids to buy the assets have been received at a very significant premium to the original €2.6 million paid for these assets. The Company will now be working with the bidders to close a transaction with the intention of selling its Spanish assets. Neil Ritson, Chief Executive commented: "We have been delighted with the interest shown in our Spanish properties and believe that if this results in a divestment, the funds raised can be utilised in Trinidad and the Gulf of Mexico where the Company has many opportunities to invest in work programmes with greater potential for near-term production. The Farm-in Agreement with Advance Oil Company Limited announced in 2011 is now anticipated to be completed in April 2012 and plans to drill the first of the three wells committed under that agreement are being formulated for mid-year 2012, although final timing depends on contracting a suitable drilling rig."

[ANGM] Announces a gold doré pour of 15.942kg (463oz) at the Nalunaq Gold Mine on 16th March. Mining operations have been progressing well, but the Company has been unable to mill crushed rock since the generator failure on 5th March. However, the other parts of the plant have remained operational and the Company has been able to process the milled ore and recover the gold that was already in the system. The parts needed to repair the generator were despatched from Aalborg on time and are expected to arrive at Nalunaq on 22nd March. Full scale production should therefore recommence before month end. Nicholas Hall, CEO, commented: "The previous gold doré pour was only 6 days before the generator failed and, although we cannot accurately extrapolate the data to calculate a monthly production rate, I consider this pour to be a good indication that, with a constant high grade feed, the mine and plant are capable of producing 1,500 to 2,000 ounces of gold per month. We are using the current time to get the whole operation as well prepared as possible for production in the coming months."
