Having lost more than 62% this session and near 80% since last positive update. There is a certainty that ARL has manouvered itself into a takeover target. There is sufficient room in the numbers to recover substantial sp fall in the near to medium term. Most if not all of the profits warning was already priced in. My opinion is that a consolidation in the sector is a distinct possibility. The balance sheet remains sound and with a market cap of £3.87Mns there is room for improvement.

The architects and design business, provides the following update to the market. The continuing economic slowdown and significant reduction in Government spending together with the well publicized uncertainty in the construction industry, has led to several of the Group's projects being cancelled and many being postponed or delayed. The Group therefore reports that revenue and profit for the year to 31 December 2010 are now expected to be significantly below market expectations. The Group took cost saving action in Q4 2009 and again in Q2 of 2010. To reflect these lower anticipated trading volumes, the Group has now commenced a further programme of cost reductions expected to amount to an annualized saving of £4.25m. The Group is also in discussion with HMRC with regards to amounts due in respect of prior tax years. Negotiations with regard to the scheduling of these payments are continuing. In the light of this and current trading conditions reported above, discussions are being held with the Group's bankers and principal shareholder with regard to financial support necessary to conclude these negotiations. The Group hopes to resolve this issue as soon as possible and will continue to update the market as appropriate. Interim Results for the half year ending 30th June 2010 will be announced on the 29th September 2010.

There will be a possible 1 for 60 consolidation and a new placing with a small amount of additional shares set asside for general offer. Intention to outsource manufacturing in order to save costs and meet expected increase in demand! this leading manufacturer of high-performance, miniature antennas for mobile and wireless devices, announces that on 1 June 2010, the Group signed a Letter of Intent with Elcoteq SE to outsource its assembly, test and supply chain processes. The initiative is expected to generate annual production savings of approximately £0.5m and the transfer of these processes and associated equipment should be completed by the end of 2010, with little or no disruption to supplies. The exceptional costs arising on the consequent restructuring are approximately £50,000. Outsourcing allows the Group to focus more effectively on its uniquely valuable production processes and increase resources for product development. At the same time, it will simplify day-to-day operations by reducing the number of direct suppliers to the Group's remaining operations, which will be consolidated from two sites into one. As per usual some sites are showing buys as sells LSE is no exception. But I know that shares were bought this session at .0235 each. Back on 19th July, these shares were bought at 9p each when the prevailing mid price was 10.25, my theory is that the then mid price quoted was a phoney, but the Bid price was 7 and offer 10.75 was still being given to the unwary, my argument is that the market makers had already discounted today's mid price of 8p then and were attempting to balance the books of this illiquid stock. Year end was 30th June, so prospective numbers will start to leak out. Mr Brumpton was a buyer pre close season, so that is my lead as to how the numbers will pan out. Current weakness is, in my opinion, a buying opportunity.

EVOL clearly has no idea where to go from its recent reincarnation except to print more share certificates. My guess is that the share price will take another beating by the "city" who may well perceive this as a yet another brokerage/adviser duffer. How can investors in the market have faith and confidence when those that run the show keep this sleight of hand card trick on going. Best to avoid these shares for now is my opinion !

Shareholders of KDD must realise that a tie up with FDI will enable both companies to exploit mutually exclusive resource assets and improve economies of scale. There will be cost savings and enhanced assets base. I believe it will be in the best of interests of KDD shareholders to accept, what I see as "a done deal". Buying at current levels may prove a shrewd judgment call!
