How funny....you guys call it "possessive singular", and we call it "singular possessive" (or "plural possessive").
I well realize who invented the language. We just made it a bit more efficient, getting rid of a bunch of unnecessary vowels, and in a few cases consonants. A good example of an extra consonant is one which describes our village idiot. In USA English, that would be a$$, rather than "ar$$.
(Also, "center"...huh? Where did you guys come up with "centre"? I think that would be pronounced something like sen-tree over here.)
I hope, when I wake for my late night time relief, I see another day like today....up, even modestly. That always makes the rest of my sleep more peaceful.
