Trump is the most consequential and the greatest president since Lincoln, and I love the guy. As do scores of millions of us. He is the only one who's stood up for the average American. He is not an elitist pig like most of the rest of DC.

You have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about.

I have a rule that seems to work for me. If I am ignorant on a topic, I keep my mouth shut. Citizens of one country who like to talk about what's going on in another country, in which they don't live, and do not know what's really going on, would be well served to follow that rule.

Yep, a positive attitude is necessary in most aspect of life, at least I believe it is if one wants to be happy...and for me, having financial freedom is a huge source of happiness. Money is freedom.

I am willing to bet it seems as if it were yesterday when you were the 'ripe old age' of 65. It's amazing how time has compressed for me as I get older. A month is like a week. The years fly by. I suppose the fact that I really "dig my gig" makes a difference.

Another of life's cruelties: the more you enjoy it, the faster it flies by.

We just can't win.

I imagine people locked up in prison don't think it's flying by.

One comment about human relationships / friendships, at least for me. They should not be a lot of work. If they're too much trouble, I am out the door; I do not need the aggravation.

With age comes wisdom, along with experience.

I am not nearly as smart, sharp or as quick as I used to be, say 40-50 years ago (I am 65), but I am a heck of a lot wiser.

When I was 15 I knew everything. Then, when I was 18, I realized I didn't know jack at 15, but now I really did know everything. Same thing happened at 20. And 25. And 30. And, probably up to or around the age of 40. By the time I was 50 I finally realized I was learning something new every day.

At age 65 I still enjoy learning something new each and every day. Long may it continue.

It's funny how we perceive others due to their handles. I've been ready Curly's posts for over a decade. I figured he was a young pup, probably in his mid-40s, give or take. That's another example of what happens when one assumes.
