Personally, I've got to go with Rusty's 16:41hr below post on this one.
But he was understating the attitude of NASDAQ investors. Small, growing companies in a high growth space, competing against giants in the same space, simply do not pay a dividend. It doesn't happen as long as there is market share to gain...it's all about 'grabbing as much real estate as possible'.
Also, I'd prefer to not pay people or companies to financially engineer / manipulate the price of the stock. I want the stock to grow on good fundamentals. I want mgt to run the company and execute on their promises rather than spend about 11 million USD in fees on an IPO, not execute on promises made when promoting the IPO, then use a good chunk of the funds to buy back stock issued during the IPO, never mind the egregious SBC pay packages they awarded themselves (along with the comp committed) to do a lousy job for the shareholders, a euphemism for bag holders in this case...and that would be us.
