Quarterlies10 Mar 2019 10:50
I know AP isn't a fan of quarterlies but will there be any for Q4? We are reaching the end of Q1 and still know nothing of the last one. If AP isn't doing them anymore wouldn't it be a good idea to tell the shareholders?
I'm not expecting much from them, far from it, but it's always good to know. Is Manailla servicing the Mercuria T1 debt ok? Q3 stated that it wasn't. Are they into the sulphides at PP yet?
Can we get an answer on the trucks? Remember those?
Quote from RNS on 11/06/2018 'A leasing package opportunity has arisen to acquire a fleet of new state of the art dumpers and excavators having a capital value of approximately $5 million, which would involve a cash deposit by the Group of $500,000. This should enable us to increase production at MPM by 50% without any commensurate increase in overheads and also at a lower direct mining/transport cost per tonne of ore mined, and thus materially increasing profitability until the new process plant is completed'.
Placing took place for 1.25m on 27/06/2018.
Quote from the quarterlies on 04/07/2018 'As a result of increased pre-stripping and the efficiencies now achieved in the current plant increased production is now possible provided sufficient dumpers and excavators are available in the pit. Part of the funds raised in the Company's recent placing will be used to pay for the deposit on new dumpers and excavators that should allow for higher equipment availability, ore and waste movement, and plant throughput. These plans will facilitate stripping at levels sustainably higher than hitherto achieved and will allow for improved utilisation of processing capacity at the Iacobeni metallurgical plant. The new equipment will also be required once we build the new plant at Manaila and the new open pits in the Carlibaba extension'.
Quote from the quarterlies on 30/11/2018 'The Board has been advised that the previously announced additional dumpers and excavators are expected to become operational during Q1 2019. Enhanced excavator capacity and transport assets will facilitate stripping at levels sustainably higher than hitherto achieved and will allow for improved utilisation of processing capacity at the Iacobeni metallurgical plant. The new equipment will also be required once we build the new plant at Manaila and the new open pits in the Carlibaba extension. Further announcements will be made regarding the delivery of the expanded mining fleet in due course'.
Still no news. Hoping they turn up this month.
The Q&A session is always worth a listen too.
