The Dempsey prospect in California has a risked value at �7.5 million for EME�s 30% WI, on the basis of a 25% probability of discovering 120 Bcf of gas. Success at this level is assessed to have a value of 7 pence per share, while discovery of 560 Bcf at Dempsey is assed to be worth 28 pence per share to Empyrean. The company is assumed to withdraw from its current 100% position at Block 29/11 offshore China as EME farms out to fund drilling and as CNOOC takes up its option to fund 50% of any discovery from FID to production. On this basis, assuming that a discovery of mmbbls at the lower ris, 4-way dip structure of Jade alone has a 25% POS and that oil in this location might have an insitu value of US$8/bbl, the project is assessed to have a risked value of �24 million to Empyrean, while discovery at this level would be worth �98 million or 20 pence per share to Empyrean.

This is called exploration. if you don't know what that means and you keep on moaning about it, sell your losses and move on. Nobody forced you to buy shares. If you buy from what is put on this BB, then ore fool you. If you buy without doing any kind of research into what exploration companies do, then more fool you again. I am sitting on a loss, but i don't moan about it. So SGC have said its world class gas, that will be correct if you ask me, but looking at how the bring to this to the surface, they have to explore other avenues. Any news that can effect the SP in any way, has, by law to be released. Thats it. I for one, don't know any company who has got it right the first time. Look at JOG. They didn't have any oil. If 1 zone flowed at 195 mcfpd at a pressure of 118 psi, what would the entire well, with all zones connected flow at a pressure of 6000 psi? Lets not forget they had to change the work over rig, due to these high pressures

The difference between an isochronal test and a stabilized-deliverability test is that the flow periods are not run long enough to reach stabilized flow. WWW Its 195 thousand cfpd. Convert this into British thermal units and a standard domestic property only needs around 26 thousand BTU, so yeah it would do your central heating and more
