Macron's turn tonight to give the covid is not over message. The bit about increased use of the passport looks interesting as with low Vax rates this would imply greater testing demand. No idea if anyone of this is likely to go nova's way or if not whether it could still be good for general sentiment towards nova? Larry & co. have any thoughts? Thanks

Crazy to think that less than 6 weeks ago no fans were allowed at games.
The semi and final are also part of the research events programme - the results will be interesting...
I'm with you Blue. Best news week for NCYT for a while. Here's something to make you salivate further. PCR tests shot up yesterday and capacity also on the increase. Blue finish!?

What has the PM learned from the pandemic?
The liaison committee has asked Boris Johnson what he has learnt from the pandemic.
The PM says: "To begin with it was clear we didn't have the data we needed and we certainly didn't have it all in one place.
"Every morning now I go straight into a meeting where I can see what's happening in any hospital in the country. I can see the breakdown by age, by variant type, I can see exactly what's happening in pretty much real time. We've set up the UK Health Security Agency, it's data that we didn't have and now we have.
"I think diagnostics was an obvious thing, we didn't even know how to make a lateral flow test when we began."
He says: "The single most important thing that we've learned is the massive benefits to our country, our society and our economy in investing in science."

Although it is a discussion forum not a conference call and unlikely to be discussing Nova directly (even if there is a still a bit of me which makes me think they will subtly hint at something!). Thankfully they listened to my feedback from last time and there is some presence from the Company unlike previous webinars.
He said people will be advised to get a PCR test asap instead. It doesn't look like this will be mandatory but regardless one would expect a huge increase in tests required.
Extract from proactive investors on Friday:
Airline stocks are doing their best to fly higher following encouraging traffic numbers from the sector this morning, with Wizz Air (LON:WIZZ) saying it filled nearly two thirds of its seats during June flights, while Ryanair (LON:RYA) flew nearly three times as many people that month versus May

I think this is the way UK will go and if so it will be good for Nova because testing will become part of everyday life.

Agreed, madness but there's obviously huge pressure from the airline industry. I couldn't access telegraph article so here's the Mirror's version. On the plus side it would be huge for Novacyt's revenue. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/summer-holidays-abroad-to-opened-24336202.amp
