many thanks to NM for giving PIs such a long lead time before the CC hearing !!!!! Soon perhaps we may know where all those millions of shares that have been sold over the past weeks have gone - I hope not to a potential bidder as I may come back in if the clearance comes through. Tomorrow will be an interesting day.
I thought this share was the nearest thing to a dead cert until a few weeks ago when I started to sense something was not right and posted as such. Yes zoros I am a man (an astute one) and like you I sold out yesterday. To those novice investors I would offer the following advice if you are beginning to have sleepless nights or panic attacks cut your losses- you can always buy back in if the tide turns. Uncertainty is the main reason for the sp drop and boy is there some uncertainty at the moment.
went to relatively new pub up north for sunday lunch (servery), place was clean, bright, .food good and it was crowded. thought about investing so went back on a weekday. Oh what a difference - servery did not look fresh sat for half hour after placing order (staff rushed off their feet) only to be informed they could not fulfil it. Spoke to manager who stated that staff had been reduced. Emailed Marstons to complain about delay and that staff were under pressure and therefore would not be investing my pittance in a company who do not appear to value the health of their staff. long delays and staff shortages are not going to improve customer footfall and hence profits.
you should NOT listen to anyone on BBs. but do your own research, check the companys web site before 8am each day for news, links provided on bbs, mining/political news on the relative country you have invested in. Numerous posts reiterating a strong buy is not unfortunately going to up the sp. If you are really worried about an investment you can a): wait for a positive/negative RNS b) sell some of your shares and take the profit/loss c) sell all of them. Only YOU can decide and I suggest you do not base your decision on what you read on this board. Personally I have taken a couple of hits on AIM and if you are relatively "new to it" I suggest you should reconsider your involvement. Anyway all the best.
thankyou Dose for a dose of realism. Ecuador has had 87 governments in its 159 years of independence. It has the highest risk rating of all S.A. mining countries (Mining.com).Antipathy against large mining operations is evident with 2 being closed by the courts. A permit is worthless if overturned usually on the grounds of failing to consult and/or in a protected forest area. Has solg any concessions in protected forest areas? To those who believe a buy out is imminent it just aint gonna happen. Why lose your money when someone else can take all the risks using their own cash and once the danger period is past leap in and gobble up all the goodies. I do not think an excellent PEA or mre is going to get the sp taking off because of the higher political risk. anyway gla (and to me)
