Yup 13% down in these ignoring dividends. They’re still trading at a 25% discount to NAV so will continue to hold in the hope that the discount will narrow as interest rates get cut further.

Looks like cancellation settlement on May 22nd. Shame, I’ve enjoyed holding these for years.

“Vacancies have plunged to a seven-year low outside the pandemic as employers freeze hiring in the wake of Rachel Reeves’s tax raid.

The number of jobs advertised fell to an average of 761,000 in the three months to April, in a steep drop from the previous three months when they totalled 804,000.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show this is the hardest time to find a job since January 2017, bar the pandemic when Britain was in the grip of a lockdown.

It comes after employers warned that the Chancellor’s £25bn National Insurance tax raid and another inflation-busting minimum wage jump were forcing them to freeze hiring.

The unemployment rate edged up to 4.5pc in January to March from 4.4pc the previous three months.

In April the number of payrolled employees fell by 33,000 compared with a month earlier, the ONS said, making it the third consecutive month of job cuts by businesses.

It means that employers have cut 150,500 jobs since October, when Ms Reeves angered bosses by hitting them with a steep tax rise.”

I wouldn’t be changing the composition of my SIPP. The FTSE has hardly moved in years. I hold some good UK dividend stocks for income but most of my stocks/funds are in the US, India and Japan.

Yes the days of free banking haven’t quite disappeared yet. I actually pay for Club Lloyds Silver which gives you AA membership, mobile phone insurance, family holiday insurance and no debit card charges abroad. Well worth it in my opinion.
