I would hazard a guess that rates won’t rise next month. Rocking the boat now with the Brexit outcome still up in the air with a rate rise is risky. Inflation has remained the same despite the hike in fuel prices which may well be reversed when output is increased.

Saddens me that this man has seemingly turned on his own country’s previous Commanders in Chief, NATO (who he was bragging about securing extra fund raising for not days ago), cosying upto Kim Jong and Putin having spent only a few hours with through interpreters and now sees the EU as his foe now. He seems to change tact like the wind and is nothing more than an unpredictable, narcissistic, egotist who loves the sound of his own voice. One minute he is slamming Germany for constructing a pipeline with Russia, expelling Russian diplomats over the Novichok business, the next he is openly blaming the CIA and throwing his lot in with Putin against them. I didn’t care much for George W Bush but this man is more dangerous. He needs removing from office as he is unfit for purpose. Never thought I would be so scathing over someone apparently on my side of the political divide. The man is a menace.
