The vast majority of people in the UK did not want what Labour could deliver. Labour actually polled less votes in July than they did in the previous election.

Labour polled 34% of the 59.7% that voted equating to some 20% of the eligible electorate. Labour only got in because the centre right vote got split.

No offence but your maths is pretty woeful if you think 20% of the electorate was a ringing endorsement for Labour.

I’m in profit here still and own plenty of other UK shares. Not irrational at all. I’m hoping these Labour clowns are forced to do a U turn by market forces. A lot of UK financials now are pseudo bonds and pay a good dividend. . Maybe your portfolio is not well diversified and you need to re-assess yours. I’ve done far better in US, Indian and Japanese funds than I have in UK and European equities in recent years. I don’t use any outlet but manage my own ISA and SIPP. Good luck yourself…….
