RE: TZ opening up industrial economy17 Jan 2019 10:46
Found this from ministry of energy website latest news - in Swahili though - I've just gootranslated header and first couple of paras - they are certainly getting on with things electrical....
"Dr. Kalemani is pleased with the speed of the Zuzu power station improvement
Energy Minister, Dr. Medard Kalemani has expressed its satisfaction with the speed of the KEC company in India which has been commissioned to build an electrical infrastructure at the Zuzu Power Station, Dodoma which is supplemented with 400 megawati capacity off of 48 current megawatts.
Dr. Kalemani has said it today in Dodoma after conducting a visit to a number of electromagnetic centers such as Pedal, Mnadani and Zuzu where he joined the Emergency Commissioner of Energy and Energy, Engineer Innocent Luoga, actors of the Tanzania Electricity Agency (TANESCO) and the Ministry Energy.
However, Dr Kalemani has stated that the contractor should complete the project in January in order to improve the accessibility of electricity in Dodoma where the work of electrical integration for the population continues to increase the use of such essential energy."
