Individual investors eg: people like me and you and all the other LTH's who have bought in and held over the last 3 years will not be in the mood for buying any more. The SP is currently stagnant and there is very little buy side pressure to drive up the SP................or am I missing something here.?
There seems to be little appetite for buying block energy shares in the general market. It needs buy side pressure that is sustained to drive up the SP. If there was a low volume of “free floating” shares and a high demand we would not be stuck at 2p for very long.
RPG7 & others ........................
Just to make things clear - I hold 2 million shares here and have been invested since shortly after Block Energy was listed on the LSE. I am not some "Johnny Come Lately" and neither am I a de-ramper hoping to drive down the SP. However - this is a discussion board and I have a right to praise the BOD when I see fit and I also have a right to express my dissatisfaction with the BOD when they screw things up. If you or anybody else has a problem with that please use your filter button.
….the confetti machine is still being cranked over. More dilution for shareholders by means of lining the pockets of the BOD. This just looks bad it shows the CEO and his cohorts to be greedy and the company as being unable to pay wages from revenue. After the lack of progress this far no sidetrack etc those bu99ers should be handed out a pay cut - “wages sacrifice “ what a load of cod’s wallop.
RXDAV - You and I have a very similar experience of Block Energy. The company was admitted to the AIM market in June 2018 and I have been invested since November 2018. My average is 4.1p and had been much higher before I too averaged down. I also have not added any since then and will not be purchasing any more. I am NOT a fan of PH nor most of the BOD, who seem to be most concerned with enriching themselves at the expense of investors large and small. When the issue of shares for part payment of wages began, I saw it as a bad thing - wage cuts (based on performance) should have been the order of the day. Each time the "confetti machine" is cranked up it is adding more dilution and must be a drag on the SP. However - for balance, I am hopeful that things are moving in the right direction but if it turns out to another case of "smoke and mirrors" then PH as the CEO should go.
Regarding "The endless drivel .........................." I think you will find that there are many, many posters on this message board who are actively hoping and praying that the SP does indeed hit 4p in the earnest hope that you do actually sling your hook and as you put it so eloquently "....get the hell out of here."
Quote : "we are also looking into ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, other ways to enhance value for shareholders."
Really - Like issuing millions of share options while the SP is tanking.?
My view is that PH needs to exit stage left............. pronto.
EOA - Not to stoke up the heated discussion with Schroedinger's Cat but;
There is a comparison made between one barrel of crude oil and 6000 cubic feet of
natural gas - this is based purely on the ENERGY values not on a comparison of the COST
or VALUE of each hydrocarbon. HTH
Hi MA1BRW - It depends on how you view the market and the actions of the MMs within it. If you view the market as acting in a "rational" way then it is a market based on supply and demand as with all other commodities. Following on from this the MMs role is purely neutral they simply facilitate the liquidity of shares within the market place. However if you view MMs as not being neutral they can be viewed as acting in a way to drive the SP in a certain direction to suit their own needs. For example, if they wish to accumulate shares they can artificially create a drop for no obvious reason and gather up cheap shares to sell on to a "big player". Does that sound familiar.? They reckon that share prices can drop 3 times quicker than they rise and obviously fear outweighs greed for many people..................
Agreed Hawkspear - What you do not get with a written message is the "tone" of voice. Tops ups......I have gone past that I am afraid. The two £ 19K "sells" around 14.30 were mine for my Bed & ISA for this year's allowance, (one was a buy not a sell) We live in hope of better things to come.
