See below a recent quote from the Daily mail reference Schroders. Makes me think if they are that good they wouldn't be investing in AFC if they didn't see a profitable future and shareprice appreciation.
"Schroders has overtaken Standard Life Aberdeen to become the UK's largest listed asset manager. The business was looking after almost £526billion of investors' cash at the end of June – which is a record, and a rise of 5 per cent from the end of December.
Standard Life Aberdeen (SLA), in contrast, was overseeing £490billion at the end of April.".
