But it sure is a depressing sector to be invested in after such high hopes that hydrogen as a commercial power source was finally upon us. Sadly it doesn't appear that way judging by the glacial pace of progress on winning real world contracts.

Well hicon that's the question. I'm holding as for me this is now a pure gamble but one that could pay off if AlkaMem arrives. I already realised half my losses at 35p some time ago (put some in ITM, lol) so not keen to take another hit at these levels. Folks still in profit should definitely take some though. What do you think hicon?

Trading update announcing a loss of £36.5 million but still £364 million cash. SP bombing on the back of it. Maybe the jam tomorrow nature of this sector is wearing thin despite the need for alternative energy sources. Unless Bond pulls something out of the fire I suspect we await a similar reaction when our update appears. Looks like the sector is still years away from making any real progress based on ITM's offering.

Wonder when AFC will win a contract? Here we are heading for mid June and no deployments of the HFC even though we were told this would happen in the early part of the year! It's becoming increasingly clear that either AFC have encountered problems with the HFC or there never was any prospect of early deployment. Either way it's very concerning given the level of expectation here. They continue to treat shareholders with utter contempt.

Problem is this research will take 5 years commencing in September! Does anyone still believe AlkaMem will make an appearance anytime soon? I certainly don't based on the posted article. Has Bond exaggerated about the potential readiness of the S cell? Let me guess?!

Let's face it unless and until Bond actually delivers something vaguely commercial, this company will remain a complete joke with a Billy bull******* at the helm. I think one of our remaining hopes of getting our money back is for some serious player to take this over and use the IP to design commercially viable products. It seems so far that AFC have been incapable of achieving this.

Well if it takes as long as AlkaMem expect methanol powered HFCs in 2025 if we're lucky!

The HFC is only a stop gap and contains a commercially available membrane I believe so it's not exclusively AFC technology at play which I'm sure will detrimentally affect it's potential profitability. AlkaMem or AFC's in house AEM is the only game in town. If they can deliver it successfully then we'll all be rich. It's still a big "if" at this stage though and with Bond's dismal record I don't expect it anytime soon.

You've posted more in the last 30 days than me Alt. 126 to 130 so you must be pretty much glued to this board too by your own reckoning.

Just one of your previous posts Alt where you predict improved products are on the way. I presume you mean the S cell? No-one knows if it will ever work so I'd say your statement that there's a certainly around the arrival of improved products is a blatant ramp. I'd say that unfortunately successful production of an AEM S cell is far from certain without which the company's business plan is not tenable. That's the truth Alt and you know it!

Thanks for digging that out Bondy. You're searching ability to find old posts exceeds mine. I distinctly remember it being reported though but the fact that we're now 2 months further on and still no updated website unfortunately confirms to me what we are dealing with in Adam Bond.

I see you're still good at asking questions but not answering any Alt. I guess you can't answer questions about the pathetic website lest you have to criticize Bond and the BOD in some way. You're clearly on a ramping agenda as you blatantly ignore inconvenient facts.

So are you saying AFC are only down because of the sector Aim? Is it nothing to do with non delivery of the previously announced orders that haven't materialised then? In that case when and if orders actually arrive the SP won't react unless the wider sector is in favour. Is that what you're saying Aim? If it is why do you hold so many AFC shares specifically? Would you not be better just holding a green shares tracker fund?

I guess having an easy come easy go attitude is best if you're an AFC shareholder and especially with the huge number of shares you hold Aim.
My concerns about future performance stem from AFC's previous performance or lack of it Aim. Saying one thing and doing another (or in this case not doing anything) on a regular basis does not build one's confidence that the CEO and board members are competent people. That's my overarching concern Aim but I guess you must be much more trusting than me.

Don't need to Alt. I remember it was reported by an attendee which is good enough for me. Anyway why do you think the website has not been updated and brought back into regular use? Are you not concerned by that? Surely It's very unprofessional on AFC's part do you not agree? Maybe you're just easily pleaded Alt and are happy that shareholders are kept in the dark by this company or maybe you're a masochist who enjoys being treated badly by Bond et al. You're unblinking loyalty to AFC and Bond is admirable though.

I'll wait it out Aim just on the off chance Bond actually pulls something off. I'd hate to miss the opportunity to get some of my money back and as I've lost so much already the risk is now acceptable. I'd wish however I'd taken your advice previously. BTW what about your 1.7 million shares? When are you going to sell them? You must be super disappointed to see hundreds of thousands of pounds wiped from your holding?

Who mentioned a link? Read the post Alt. Sounds like you're trying to look for a plausible explanation as to why the website hasn't been updated and the current one all but abandoned. Now we hear of another FC company beating AFC by delivering their product successfully to Acciona, something we were expecting to happen last year. AFC are currently not at the races and unless that changes very soon this company isn't going anywhere.
